Landmark: Army Corps. of Engineers responsible for Katrina flooding, District Judge rules

In a groundbreaking decision, a federal judge ruled late Wednesday that the Army Corps of Engineers' mismanagement of maintenance of the Mississippi River-Gulf Outlet was directly responsible for flood damage of homes in St. Bernard Parish and the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.

    • It's about time that the truth was told!! But, this is only the beginning. The tax revenue that is generated by those shipping lanes will generate plenty of money. Put those people back in their homes and breathe life back into the greatest city on earth! Laissez le bon temp roule!!!!!!!!!!
