i think jon was fair with lou. its not jons fault that lous argument was weak and so easy for him to crush to the point u forget he said anything at all.

I'm not sure he crushed Lou's points. They never got into the details. Bare in mind that Jon got the last word, and he had the audience 100% on his side.

Hey, I enjoy watching Jon Stewart, not only is he entertainingly funny, he is also insightful.
...never-the-less, his biases are absorbed by many of his faithful as gospel and embraced as such, hence I see no great difference in the spin from his show than many that the liberals claim that other media does that doesn't mirror their ideological mantra. - 2 years ago

You do know he's a comedian, right? J/K. He's my favorite "news anchor" too.

It was a good interview.... Up until the last bit where Jon stole the last word... er... words.. er.... monologue. I thought that was cheap, and Lou, being the good guest that he was that night, deserved more.

he did not jump in. there are a plenty of instances where is stopped what he was saying to allow Dobbs to speak
and, as bad as it sounds, i really trust jon.
yes, he is a comedy show and he is really sarcastic....whatever
but if you know how to look past some of the sarcasm and are able to really understand what he meant, then i think its ok to get your news/opinion/ect from here. and this interview makes me have SOO much more respect for him and i am very willing to listen to what he says, and agree with him - 2 years ago

~ Jon once again did a very skilled job inviting his guest to elucidate points brought forward for discussion,
... and then interjecting his own talking points, quickly directing the exchange into a one sided event.
... therefore, nullifying any cerebral dialog between Jon and his guest.

True, but I believe much more respectfully than Lou Dobbs used to do by loudly talking over his guests when they tried to present an opposing view. Perhaps that's why Jon jumped in the way he did, but no way to know for sure.

Nah, Jon should've been more restrained with his interruptions... He knows fully well that interrupt-laden interviews drags the content away from it's potential. Still a good interview though. They were both pretty respectful.
