Labour deputy leader Harriet Harman is to be prosecuted over a minor car accident in her south London constituency in July.
She faces prosecution for allegedly driving without due care and attention and driving while using a mobile phone.
The Crown Prosecution Service has said there is sufficient evidence and it is in the public interest to prosecute.
A spokeswoman for Ms Harman said she "strongly refutes the allegations and will deny the charges".
As always the police go after the trivial matters, if they were really concerned with justice our whole parliament would be locked up!

completely agree, but as with any matters concerning the integrity of the government, we are as a nation, used to not seeing any proper justice.
