The Archbishop of Canterbury and the Pope agreed to seek closer relations between Anglicans and Catholics at a meeting in Rome, the Vatican has said.
It follows tensions over the Vatican's offer to welcome disenchanted Anglicans into the Catholic fold.
Pope Benedict's proposal would allow Anglicans to convert while preserving many of their traditions and practices.
A Vatican statement said the "cordial" talks reiterated "the shared will" to move toward closer relations.
It said the discussions, which lasted around half an hour, "also focused on recent events between the Catholic Church and the Anglican Communion."
Can't have a 1 World Gov't without a 1 World Religion. For those who don't know, the Archbishop of Canterbury is basically the Pope of all Anglican religions: Baptists, Evangelicals, Protestants, etc. But, the Archbishop is still subservient to the Pope in terms of the Christian hierarchy of Apostolic succession.
The difference between the two is like comparing Coke and Pepsi: drink either and you'll end up obese. All the supposed differences are just an act, window dressing that establishes divisions between, when ultimately they are working together to Christianize the world and restore the Holy Roman Empire.
See, the Vatican accepts that it no longer requires direct worship. If you believe through the subordinate sects, cults or religions, you eventually go up the chain to the Pope anyway, so its all good to them.
The Church also promotes Atheism, believe it or not, b/c if you don't believe in God, who do you follow?..the gov't, who is owned by the Church anyway. They also promote a false Big Bang Theory of science, which is in fact, a scientific interpretation of the Virgin Mary. The con is that the Big Bang is a lie and not real science. So, they get us from all sides.
Now, who wants to know the truth?
