    • Do they have any comments on the actions of likes of Mark Sanford, Jim Ensign, Larry Craig, Tim Haggard and Mark Foley all defenders of the GOP 's moral and family value hypocrites?

    • Where are the lions when you need them? Maybe the Romans had it right after all. Who knows, maybe history will repeat itself...

Where is Christ with his whip when you need him. Many in this temple of America have turned into nothing more than a bunch of money changers, bigots, racists and "Old Testament," self appointed, high priests looking for their next slaughter to offer to the God's.

    • From Urban Dictionary: Basically, a hypochristian is someone who claims to be a Christian but doesn't follow the teachings of Jesus. They often go to church on the Sabbath wearing dresses and suits and ties, play a prominent role in the congregation, are married and have children. They tend to vote exclusively Republican (but not always) and try to bully the local community to pass laws favorable to their point of view, try to force their point of view on EVERYBODY around them, try to establish a Christian Iran in America, and brag about how moral they are and how loyal the family is to them. They tend to be white racists, prejudiced against all those who are not like them. Women hypochristians often are soccer moms. To sum it up, a hypochristian is usually a neo con, a "conservative Christian", although some are also of the liberal persuasion, too.

    • ibrake4rappers13:

Considering the atmosphere of hate and vengeance being nurtured by the extreme right these actions are inflammatory and these people well know that. Disliking Obama's policies is one thing but encouraging this kind mentality is another.

Ibrake - you say "that doesnt mean we want to kill him"

And I don't think YOU do. But you said "we"... who is "we"? You can't believe that you speak for every conservative. Can you?

How do you not see that this type of mentality is very dangerous to foster in some peoples minds, even if you are not one of them?

    • There goes those Christians showing that Christian Love they are so famous for. If they actually behaved as Christians, turning the other cheek, rendering unto Caesar, welcoming home the prodigal son, etc... less people would be so hostile towards them and religion in general. Instead they just generate disgust among so many.

Shaeffer is right that this group is very much a minority but the true crime here is as he says that this behavior is not condemned for the blatant hypocrisy that it is towards Christianity and American patriotism. This behavior with its overwhelming potential for violence is being encouraged by some republican leaders and Fox News.

    • I think that there will come a time when there will be a sharp shooter who goes after evangelicals for being so evil. It will be a karmic backlash for their hundreds of years of terrorizing innocent people.

    • this is very alarming, it shows that America is still unfair,racist,nazi-like people in this so called state of freedom

if we want to change this country we need to not accept what we see stand up against this propaganda

    • I knew the rhetoric was getting bad, but I never stopped to realize just how bad it really is.
The terrorists that reign in other parts of the world are few in comparison to the general population, yet they cause untold death and destruction.
The home grown terrorists here in the U.S. may be small in number, but they too have the potential to cause death and destruction on a large scale.
And Schaffer has a very good point.....Just as the moderate Muslims seem not to be speaking out against other Muslims that would terrorize, where are the moderate Christians who will speak out against Christian terrorists?
Man-made religion, manipulation and control, what a way to keep people from just getting along.
We're all in this together....as long as your religion allows it.
