I think the main benefit of an associates degree nowadays is an easier transfer into a 4 year university. I have a lot of friends that couldn't afford 4 years of university tuition so they're transferring from a community college to save some money. I'm told it's also a simpler process as far as credit transfers go when the associates has been completed.
These days I don't think it would be worth much more, however. There are too many unemployed people with undergraduate degrees for an associates to be of much significance in this market.

An Associate Degree will get you a job that a high school graduate might be able to get. Except you'll be able to advance about 4 times faster. It is also equivalent to about 1 to 2 years experience in the job field.
So, in other words, you will want to stick around for you Bachelor's Degree. The potential to make close to 6-figure salaries come with the territory.
