What did the recession do to the island's economy? What happens when the tourists are gone? What happens year-round? This multimedia piece attempts to answers these questions. Eight year-round residents explore what it takes to live 30 miles out to sea. Some came for work, others for leisure, but they all share one thing in common, enduring the effects of living on an island in New England.
