    • isnt this what we have a trained military for?? the use of blackwater and other mercenary companies are only a way to break international laws and escape the reaches of the geneva convention.... they are not held to the same standards military is.... if our military cannto do it, then why are most of these people ex-military??

Its a crock, basic propaganda to lead people to accept this as "ok" by telling them our own military is inadequate and unable to do the jobs they do....... so why is our military sent to cover them during their ops if they cannot perform as they do??

    • Blackwater started out protecting State Department employees because the Diplomatic Security Service was incapable of protecting its own.

    • So Neo, that leaves us with three questions:

      1) Who will do the job?

      2) Does the job need to be done?

      3) Is the government capable of doing these jobs?

    • Your (military training) tax dollars at work. A significant amount of money training special ops down the toilet. Time to make the hiring of mercenaries illegal.
