Big reason why sheriff Arpaio should loose his job....he believes that pot is an evil drug. His old way of thinking is a problem that stands in the way of true progress and compassion. He is the enemy.

Okay I am going to cite wikipedia on this because I am feeling lazy. Here are just a few reasons this guy is probably ripe for criminal prosecution:
"On March 3, 2009, the United States Department of Justice "notified Arpaio of the investigation in a letter saying his enforcement methods may unfairly target Hispanics and Spanish-speaking people" [35] Arpaio, denying any wrongdoing and welcoming the investigation, said he would cooperate fully.[36]
In October 2009, the Department of Homeland Security removed the authority of Arpaio's 160 federally trained deputies to make immigration arrests in the field. Despite the actions of the Department of Homeland Security, Arpaio has maintained that he will still pursue illegal aliens under Arizona state law.[37]"

Ok this is kinda funny, but It would be nice if someone explained why this sheriff is controversial. There's some info at the link below, but I'd be curious to hear what these people's specific beef was. As it is, they just looked like goofy agents of censorship.
