Brad Niesluchowski, a High School teacher was fired for downloading the SETI@home software on every computer in the district.

    • Makes sense. Schools these days are dirt ass, eating the paste of the wallpaper, boil up your shoes poor. The mere extra electricity use probably crippled them.

    • The school district estimates losses from his downloads at over $1 million. Meanwhile, students in Arizona go hungry over the weekend. One mom has hooked up with a local supermarket to provide food at cost in knapsacks so the kids won't be embarrassed. Niesluchowski should be made to work off the damages by doing community service to help the students, not take away from them.
