Schoolgirl blinded by hair dye wins £20,000 payout

A schoolgirl who was blinded after suffering a severe allergic reaction to hair dye at a salon was today awarded £20,000 in compensation.Charlotte Gilchrist was 16 when a trip to the hairdressers left her with blisters on her face and unable to open her eyes for five days.
