The House recently passed the Stupak amendment, which would eliminate abortion coverage from both private and public health plans participating in the insurance exchange. 52 percent of women obtaining abortions in the U.S. are younger than 25 (The Alan Guttmacher Institute). Since the Stupak Amendment would directly affect the reproductive rights of young people living in the U.S, we asked our fall interns to weigh in on what they thought about the amendment.
