I think that women like this are absolutley stupid. Nevermind that I am biased and have been cheated on and have been told that she was forced....forget all of that. I am talking about the women that are genuinely raped on a daily basis and no one can even look at them without a scrutinized eye, because women lie about being raped all the time....its just that this case got publicity. I have no sympathy for women who do this. Throw them in jail for a long time. There are too many cases of women not being believed. At least they should put her picture with sex offenders to warn others to steer clear of her.

I know Anglo Saxon males are typically the ones pointed out as being raciest or discriminating against others, but in my life time I've see more discrimination against this group then I see this group giving it. Here is perfect example, I doubt if she were a he, that the sentence would be so light, in fact I bet the penalty would have been severe! When it comes to sex crimes or for that matter crime in general, females typically receive great leniency.

Even when cases like this are closed,... I'm still skeptical of the TRUE situation. We all think we know what truly happens in these "Cry Rape" cases,... but the real truth is often only known by a few. How many coercing, influential or fearsome factors are present with rape victims,... that often cause them to recant. Verdicts or court decisions are not always truth.

Maybe iphones should have a date app. It records what really happened so you can't get charged with anything.

I would like to know the implications on the life of the stranger and her supposed "lover". I've seen it happen first hand. Someone who is falsely accused of sexual assault can never shake that stigma. Even when the lies are exposed, they are still tainted with the mere accusation.

I know this may seem laughable, but the simple matter is you do not lie about rape and sexual assault when there are so many real victims out there. If you do lie about it you are no better then the scum who engage in it.

Absolutely egregious. Women like her significantly challenge public credibility of actual rape victims when they cry wolf like this. I'd rather her penalty be fines to pay back the taxpayer money consumed by her lies rather then take more taxpayer money for jail time.
