1 in 5, that's the national average isn't it?
Just goes to show what the human body can endure, if Usain Bolt can eat nuggets that contain up to several malnourished chickens grinded up together, and then go and set a world record. - 2 years ago

I don't think it makes a huge difference, assuming most of these guys will be on 6 - 8 meals a day for their training to be supplemented. McDonalds won't make a blind bit of difference...
Here is just one of the examples i remember reading, have a look at his calorie intake...http://blogs.wsj.com/health/2008/08/13/the-michael-phelps-diet-dont-try-it-at-ho...
As you can see 'ripped' isn't the word

1:5 that's pretty bad. Let's hope all of their other meals are healthy ones. Everything in moderation.
Too bad someone doesn't come up with a marketable healthy fast food alternative and blow the sox off the other fast food market choices. Is any one out there listening????

not even just fruit and veg, meat can also be lean and healthy, there are alot of 'marketable' healthy options out their. Especially in the US. It is just a matter of ease and lets be honest on occasion all that salt and sugar tastes good for the odd treat.
