Let's get one thing straight: I don't believe Lieberman being a Jew has the slightest thing to do with his being wrong about everything. When one person can hold the entire Senate hostage and control one of the most important bills of the century something is very wrong with the way Congress works. A lot of fault lays with the spineless Democrats who are bowing down to this ego maniac. There's no doubt Lieberman is enjoying the power the other Senators have given him. Lieberman isn't blocking this bill out of idealism as he wants us too think. He is on a selfish power trip while protecting the insurance interests in his state.

Pretty funny that Lieberman is a staunch supporter of Israel, a country with healthcare for all Israeli's. I guess its good enpough for them but not us. He has been bought and paid for by the Insurance Companies who are the backbone of business in Connecticut. Rest assured that the people of the state of Connecticut are sorry they sent him back to Washington D.C. instead of Ned Lamont. The end is near for Mr. Lieberman, next election he'll be gone gone gone.

Leiberman opposes this for the same reason every thinking American opposes it. Whoever supports this is just following the political line of dangerous people such as Obama, Pelosi and Reid. They need to think for themselves and support the people, not a corrupt government.

LIeberman is a douche bag. Strip him of all his Senate privileges, committee chairmanships, etc. And go after him hard in the next election, regardless of what he does.

The people of Connecticut have one thing and one thing only to blame for their lack of health reform, and his name is Joe Lieberman. I hope they remember that when they get to the polls next time around.

I would tell him to shove it and pass the legislation through reconciliation. This isn't a stupid game and we don't need this pasty-faced clown. What pisses me off the most is that he always asks the Democrats to give up more and never asks the Republicans to give up anything.

I wonder what he's holding out for. IIRC he was the guy who demanded the compromise that created this version of the bill in the first place. We know why the republicans hate it. They just want it to fail because it would weaken the administration, but what's his excuse?
