But, they’d be wrong.
Based on the size of the populations and number of reported medical cannabis dispensaries by each city’s respective City Council, America’s cannabis capital is….drum roll please….
Los Angeles – 1,000 dispensaries for a population of 9,862,049 = 1 dispensary per 9,862 people
Denver – 198 dispensaries for a population of 598,707 = 1 dispensary per 3,023 people

The Denver Post reported Tuesday, January 5th:
"Denver officials have now received applications for sales-tax licenses from 390 dispensaries."
Keep in mind that while the majority of the dispensaries in the Denver metro area are located in the City and County of Denver, Denver itself comprises less than 1/3 of the size of the metro area.
A quick google search shows only 1 federal dispensary raid. The medicinal marijuana law in Colorado exists as a state constitutional amendment, which cannot be changed without a subsequent constitutional amendment. There have however been over 25 robberies this past year if I remember correctly.

Are they being raided in CO or does the local govt not care about them? Here in LA/LB there have been hundreds of raids this year.

Yeah and FLORIDA, is the largest Hydro producer in the country according to sources I really should have bookmarked. They also mentioned it on MSNBC, on a hour long program dedicated to Marijuana (forgot the name, but they still re-run it) . So Florida has all the same high quality strains as anywhere else just a larger percentage of it is grown hydroponically....
For some reason other than the medical Marijuana policy, and the whole being able to carry an ounce in Denver; nothing else about it impresses me...

So just because florida grows more hydro according to a very outdated boring program MSNBC runs all the time, Denver doesn't impress you?
How about this: in denver and most of colorado you can get a medical license for as cheap as 90 bucks, some places you don't even need medical records, and everyone who trys, gets one. I mean EVERYONE.
After that you can grow yourself legally or choose a dispensary to be your caregiver and get discounts from them. And the dispensaries are way more badass than any appartment or basement you pick up from illegally in Florida. You can go in to the dispensary and chill for a while, smoke, watch them make hash, check out all the strains they got in, and talk to the people working there without having to hide anything from anyone.
The Denver Post just hired someone who reviews strains, do they do that in florida?
Entire warehouses are full of plants, and its legal.
Scientists are working to find the strains with traits that are most medically beneficial. And if you think florida has better weed, check out the colorado medical growers cannabis cup winning strains.
Believe me, Denver is the cannabis capital of america

In Denver you can carry up to an ounce of pot and not be prosecuted for it. As long as you are over 21.
