YouTube - Lazy Afghanistan Army - Obama signs bill Monday to help train these idiots!

Monkey_Films
You won't believe this video. We can't train this Army. There is no hope for the Afghanistan military if they can't find better recruits.

    • Why do we even need to make an Army out of these men. It seems to me if they don't have a well trained Army maybe they didn't need one before we arrived.

    • MONKEY_FILMS, YOU'RE THE IDIOT ON THIS ONE. WHAT ORGAN GRINDER TRAINED YOU ?

Imagine being angry at people because they don't know how to fight.

Maybe they can teach us something that we don't know. Has anybody ever seen what the affects of oppression look like on an entire nation and it's people.

These American soldiers are the ones that are embarrassing on this film. The entire world is sick of condescending American mindset and how we look down on other cultures, and people on this planet.

Watch the film again with a new pair of glasses on, then tell me what's worst. The arrogance of the fighting man, or the man who's completely ignorant of aggression and war. Which group of people do you see the spirit of love in, and who's demonstrating hate? How dare you call these people idiots. How does the Current staff even allow you to post a story calling Afghanistan people idiots. I see this as being a racist attack on an entire nation's people and their culture I'm sick of the racism on the site.Hate is root of all of the World's troubles.

      I vote this story down.

    • The U.S.A. was conquered by European Christian Jihadis.

Afghanistan has never been conquered and never will.

Maybe our troops should get better at smoking hashish so our nation can become invincible as well.

    • All armies have to be drill common men into soldiers. There is no such thing as a good raw recruit. No one is well trained to be a soldier. Discipline has to be learned and taught.

When Lafayette came from France to America during the Revolutionary War, he found a dirty, ragtag, undisciplined mob that deserted almost as much as it fought. Washington was grateful for the way Lafayette drilled and helped train the Continental Army. We can call these men idiots, but that is not the problem. The problem is that none of these men have been taught discipline, order, or how to behave like real soldiers.

Part of our job over there is to do it. Give any good commander a group of these men and he will remake them into soldiers.

Epaminondas trained the Thebans to defeat the Spartans, Lafayette trained the Americans to defeat the British, Philip trained the Macedonians to transform themselves from the laughingstock of Greece into its conquerors, Sun Tzu trained the warriors of Wu into a great fighting force, and Frederick the Great organized the once weak Prussians into one of the greatest figthing forces in Europe.

Why shouldn't we be able to do the same? Why shouldn't we be able to make an army of these men?

Because they have never been defeated, and the only military force they seek liberation from is our own.

Military training and discipline is irrelevant when it's goal is First World Corporate dominance over indigenous cultures.

    • Awesome video. I didn't see an author or a date on the video at all though

You know that Afghanistan has one of the lower literacy rates in the entire world. It's
something like 36% with 51% of that number being males and only 21% being female.

Guess what America's literacy rate is? 99%

      USA, some freedoms left.....

      Afghanistan......hardly any freedoms left.....

and the USA is losing hers quickly.....from both sides of the aisle....everyone's been brainwashed into big slavery government.....

"we'll protect you from terrorists, responsibility, blah blah blah...."

That is what the world has become....a place where individual rights and confused for human rights and a place where individual rights are on the other hand forgotten.....

What a slave system we are living under!

Interesting, but this little paragraph makes me wonder:

"Many high-income countries, having attained high levels of literacy, no longer collect basic literacy statistics and thus are not included in the UIS data. In calculating the Human Development Index (HDI), a literacy rate of 99.0% is assumed for high-income countries that do not report adult literacy information."

There is a damn high number of countries with a 99% literacy rate on that list, with Cuba, Estonia and Latvia topping the list at 99.8. Seems a little odd, I don't know.

    • Mikeysfake1:

Another thing to note is that the study of literacy rate study in Afghanistan was in 1999. I don't know if the numbers are as accurate as they may be today. I just thought I'd throw it out there.

I guess maybe what would be a positive would be to invest in there educational system and maybe devote more soldiers to protecting students in the schools. Most girls in Afghanistan are intimidated into not going to school and most of there parents don't like the idea of male teachers teaching the girls. It's an issue that will eventually have to be addressed.

    • They are a broken people, those who can fight have been recruited by those we are trying to fight. We helped to destroy the infrastructure by funding and thus prolonging the fight against the communists, and in the end we didn't help rebuild the country back THEN. YES ITS A MESS!!!! . . . but its partly OUR mess!

Spot on comment. Its sad but true. I was over there in 2006 when it was starting to heat up again. I also noticed the cultural difference. America and Britain are the only countries I've seen where the people are "driven" to accomplish. We "live to work" when other countries just "work to live." I developed a love/respect for the Afghan people, especially the interpreters, but they have a different mentality.
