Brooke Mueller Sheen's 911 call released

US police have released the 911 emergency call from Charlie Sheen's wife, Brooke, following an alleged assault by her husband.

The Platoon and Wall Street star was arrested on Friday morning following the call from a house in the ski resort of Aspen, Colorado.

Mrs Sheen can be heard crying during the call, in which she said her husband had a knife and had threatened her.
