Rush Limbaugh NOT Dead – No Heart Attack…felt similar pains…

HONOLULU – Conservative talk-show host Rush Limbaugh remained hospitalized in Hawaii on Thursday after experiencing chest pains similar to a heart attack, according to the guest host on his nationally syndicated radio show.

Limbaugh was rushed to a Honolulu hospital Wednesday during a vacation.

    • Apparently Rush brings out the worst in the right and the left. Bringing out the worst in people should not be something to aspire to. I do not wish him death. Death is easy and would make him out to be a martyr for the right. They have enough, they don't need the gift of their own martyr. Long live Rush.

      Not interested in huff or kos, but I posted on the Current thread and referred back to it repeatedly to see what others had to say. The vast majority had little sympathy for the creep...but most of the posts I read from those who tend to be left-leaning nonetheless specifically said they did NOT wish him dead -- though a little suffering might be good for a man who has caused so many others to suffer and who has done so much damage to our country with his vile invective.

      I agree with your assessment on the Current postings. The overwhelming majority of posts were not wishing him death. It was a tasteless minority. Also I do not think that Current is as lefty as the other sites.

    • As usual, the right is using this as a reason to go after the left. Acting as though the left want him dead. I think that is just more spin, to distract from the fact, that it was probably Oxycontin that caused his problems, again.

      I can't believe the right has hung their coats in the closet of this druggie. He was busted for Oxycontin years ago and was not held accountable. I don't think he stopped his drug of choice, while spewing hate in America. It was probably the Oxycontin that made him say such vile disgusting stuff. Rush didn't have to resort to robbery to support his habit, he resorted to spreading hate on our airwaves. Unfortunately, hate in America sells. Sad, sad, sad.

    • So WTF was Rush Limbaugh doing in Hawaii on vacation at the same time as the President? And if he went there solely to start sh*t with the President then why wasn't Rush also placed on a terrorist watch list or no fly list--since I am guessing he's on record as saying he wishes the President would die and/or he would not cry too much if President Obama had an "unfortunate" accident or suddenly decided to go hunting with Dick Cheney--so it would follow he and was not in Hawaii just to wish the President a Merry Christmas or Happy New Year in passing.

    • meh. he's been dead to me for a long time now. I never agreed with him but he actually had some character before he got in with the Gingrich crowd and was given that TV show where he learned what true greed really was. Ever since then he's been such a pandering sycophant that his words have no more authority and meaning than a commercial for spray on hair.

His waxy-yellow, embalmed corpulence will grace the lobby of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, turning on a plush shag pedestal, spotlighted under 15,000,000 candlepower halogen lamps, right between the coat check area and "Big Bertha, the One-Pull $1,000,000 Slot." Tourists will line up to have their photos taken in front of "The Rush Limbaugh Conservative Passion" exhibit, where Limbaugh's most famous invective will be displayed, etched into granite slabs on the floor around the rotating corpse.

      I believe that's Rasputin you're trying to reference (...let's not forget the whole "sacrificing liberal virgins - not quite a contradiction!- to the black goat of conservatism" angle), but I thought "waxy yellow embalmed corpulence" was a nice touch.

      As to "apoplectic frenzy" I can only speak for myself, and I feel only quiet disgust for Rush's racist, bigoted, ethnophobic, sexist, homophobic and moronic rants and real pity for the brain-dead ditto heads who prefer to absorb his pathetic "analyses" rather than engaging in independent thought.

      Contrary to being in the least troubled by him, I laugh out loud every time I consider the fact that this is the shining example of American virtue to which Republicans pledge allegiance. The Gang Who Couldn't Shoot Straight rides again!
