After their recent exchange during a "Larry King Live" interview, Congressman Paul challenges Ben Stein (and others who share his position) to a public debate over our nation's foreign policy and what truly motivates terrorists.-

Anyone who's actually (regrettably) sat through all of Ben Stein's "documentary" will know how unappealing and trivial this would be to watch.

I will and so will others. We need more open debates in our society and in Congress. The problem with the idiots in DC is that none of them know how to debate and they end up arguing and looking like fools.

Unless something happens between now and 2012 I will give Ron Paul a chance to fix things. I don't think Obama is going to do it I hate to say that. I just see another President for the Large company not one for the people by the people. he talked a good talk to get in office but it looks like that is all we get for our vote. A lot of smooth talk from another lawyer.

Yep! me too. I would like to know where all the talk about change went. Nothing has changed all I see is another lawyer in office that has done the same thing as all the other Lawyers have done. They help their friends get richer and the poor get poorer. Thats not change well Ok the change is some other rich guy is getting rich. To bad it's the small business man that is paying for it along with every man an woman that is paying taxes.

yeah, the sole reasons why i voted for obama was to pull our troops out and close gitmo. I would be less pissed over all the deficeit spending if we had our troops home, and acted with more decency towards our war prisoners. He said it would be done in the first year and neither has happend.
Like B is saying, just another career politician who was trained as a lier in an ivory tower. Ron Paul is the smartest politician, and seems to be genuine. I would love to see PBS make a debate series involving Ron Paul and a new guest everyweek.
