    • The truth you speak of goes beyond the american government. America is a tool. And if you havent noticed, our usefulness is running out.

    • "The 9/11 attacks were planned in Germany and Spain, and conducted mainly by US-based Saudis to punish America for supporting Israel’s repression of the Palestinians." I'd like to see some sourcing for that assertion - it's a new one.

    • Not sure why this is relevant. I thought the reason we invaded Afghanistan was because the Afghan government refused to turn al-Qaeda in to the US, not because that was where 9/11 was planned.

    • I don't buy it for one second.

I have renamed the CIA from Central Intelligence Agency to Corruption Incorporated of America.

    • So if it was planned in an apartment near the World Trade Center then Mission Accomplished? Does it really matter where it was planned? It was supposedly a religious sect, not a country. It was never about terrorism folks. It was everything but about terrorism. Presently, as far as the populations of Iraq and Afghanistan are concerned, the US is a terrorist.

    • very interesting article. my only question.... how is it that the great socialist dupe (or so he was called by the walmart folk) has justified the bolstering of troops in a region that his initial platform promised to get us out of.

His platform promised to get us out of IRAQ, not Afghanistan.

He promised to end Afghanistan as quickly and cleanly as he could, which requires a troop increase to control the violence, just like we had to do in Iraq. Remember Bush's surge? That DID work.

And Iraq just finished December as the FIRST month with no American deaths.

    • What should be done about it?

Like I said, just because operational planning was done in Spain and Germany doesn't change the fact that the operations were conceived and training done in Afghanistan, so this doesn't change anything that we already knew.

What, should we invade Germany? Bomb Spain?

This is old news that was widely published at the time it was discovered. Nothing to get worked up about.

I do understand what your saying, but when it's always brought up that the 911 plan was forged in Afghanistan it means the lie is perpetually being told and thus this never ending madness continues at our expense.

What madness? The war in Afghanistan? What possible good does it do to stir that pot now? We're there. We'll be there for the foreseeable future until we either fail to achieve our goals and go broke or we finally kill off enough of the Taliban that it falls apart as a group.

Even if we COULD get Obama to end it now, it'd be a couple of years before we could withdraw all the troops.

Try to find some cause that you CAN do some good about instead of tilting at windmills.

Like I said, this is old news, people know and understand that the operational planning took place in Europe. Likewise, they also know that Al Qaeda was HEADQUARTERED in Afghanistan and had training facilities there.

Your attempt to draw attention away from Afghanistan is useless, because people already know what you are saying and don't really care.

    • But since it's old news and nothing has been done about it, then I think it should be brought up as much as possible for people who don't have a clue or have been so brain washed they can't put the pieces of the puzzle together for there-selves.

No, the German and Spanish connections were well publicized when the police of both of those countries uncovered the cells that were involved - the Germans actually put some folks in jail.

      This is not news.

Just because OPERATIONAL plans were made in other countries does not detract from the FACT that the operations were conceived and the operatives themselves trained in Afghanistan.

      But thanks for playing!

Like you can trust what you read all over the net. just because you read it all over does not make it the truth. remember who is putting the information out there is lieing to us all. Do you believe what your goverment is telling you? if you do your just one of the sheeple.

And if you never do, doesn't make you some kind of hero. You have to actually read what's out there, consider the source and go from there.

But I KNOW this was in the news, several times, as the police in those countries investigated leads. This is NOT new news, it has been publicized, and if you are too lazy to search or simply too jaded to believe anything you read, you should just find a hole and pull it in after you.

Future: Because the Iraqi government was refusing to cooperate with the War on Terror. They had no reason to (read: WMD's) but did anyway. We couldn't discern why at the time, so we deposed Hussein. Also, have you seen anything about gas prices on national news lately? I didn't think so.
