KABUL – The United Nations said Thursday that a weekend raid by foreign troops in a tense eastern Afghan province killed eight local students and warned against nighttime actions by coalition forces because they often cause civilian deaths.

    • this just enrages me. probly becoming more and more commonplace each decade this war for control over the middle-east ensues. Maybe it's some route through China that is the goal. It is definitely maddening.

    • Thanks treewolf39. Isn't this just the saddest thing you've ever heard of. I feel for the children around the world exposed to this madness. There is no doubt this is part of the reason the soldiers come back so messed up in the head.
