Glenn Beck rejects Birther politics and angers his base. In a surprising move Beck has told Birthers their cause is "the dumbest thing I've ever heard".

The remark is surprising because Beck is deliberately insulting his fan base. It is also surprising because Beck happens to be right. It may very well be the first time.
