My wife and I were planning to get divorced, we had no history of violence. One day she got way out of hand and argued and said some terrible things in front of the kids. I recorded her on my video camera. The next day she threw it away and took my computer in case I downloaded the video. I told her to give me back my computer and phone or I would call the police. When I called the police non emergency number she called 911 and said I hit her, I never hit her. I was arrested and jailed and could not see my girls for 6 weeks. Even after that I could not see them over night for 4 months. When we went to trial I examined her on the stand. She said that I stood in front of her and she straight in front of me and that I kicked her with the fibula bone on my leg. She said this because she had no bruises. Her attorney failed to redirect and the judge agreed with me that she lied. It was a physical impossibility that I kicked her in the manner she described. There were other obvious lies in the record, but she was never even reprimanded for putting me in jail for 2 days and keeping me from my children for so long. I will be pursuing suit in civil action. It is just way to easy to put a man in jail without proof.

Sorry to hear that. That is a sad story. This could have easily been avoided if officers were trained to assess situations better upon arrival. Yes, there are terrible incidents where domestic violence perpetrated by a male or female abuser that do occur must be dealt with by no other means than arrest. However, a few simple questions and a little bit of social work can prevent arrests based on false testimony.
It is a matter of using nuclear weapons on a fly because some flies bite. Overkill.
Good luck to you.

I had been married to my wife for several years, and I finally got tired of her mental abuse(I didn't dare say that in court because I wouldn't be taken seriously since I'm a guy), so I filed for divorce, and a couple days after she was served the divorce papers, she filed an order of protection against me claiming that I've been beating her! Because of this lie that she was encouraged to tell on me by her public attorney, I had to go nearly a month (until the hearing) before I could even see or talk to my kids! It was the most stressful four weeks of my life. My wife(yes we are back together) has apologized several times for being encouraged to lie on me about abusing her, but she said that she was told by her attorney that it would give her the upper hand in the custody case. I am sure that over half of domestic violence reports by women are false accusations, because these pathetic lawyers tell the woman to play victim. I can't wait until the day that politically correctness is overcome so that men can atleast fight back in these cases.

This is not atypical. In fact, it's quite common for women to lie about domestic violence to get a leg up on divorce proceedings. Unfortunately, the courts often turn a blind eye to the person's lies.

Awful about Vladek Filler - felony for "splashing water"? Sounds very familiar. The last refuge of the total loser. I've seen unprofessionals like the DA mentioned in this article. I should make it clear - the majority of people involved in the legal system are honest, hardworking and dedicated. People like Mrs. Filler understandably frighten others and the "fear factor" shouldn't be underestimated. After over 10 years, the one common factor was that all professionals encountering my boyfriend's ex-wife and her husband just wanted them the heck away. It's self-preservation. If I had been them, I would have done the same. The husband grossly threatened the judge, numerous attorneys, and psychologists (on the internet - his mess is still out there for all 2 visitors a year to see). The wife was such an egregious liar, constantly inventing new stories that I'm sure all could see the pattern and recognize the danger to themselves. He "rewarded" the children's attorney by praising her online after previously threatening her. Another factor in these cases is that the perpetrators always take to the internet. If I had a buck for every time the stepfather stated he would post video blogs and interviews with my boyfriend's children so they could tell the world how much they hated him, I'd be rich. Oh wait - I am. I have my friends, family, coworkers and other loved ones. I have my self-respect. As to false accusations, the couple accused both myself and my teenaged daughter of murdering my baby who died. So yeah, I know about false accusations. The one fortunate thing is that no one believed these extreme accusations when turned on me and an innocent child. Except my boyfriend's kids. Of course he was accused first and worst - when one thing doesn't work, these mentally-ill people just move on to another.

My 7 year old was kept with a mother defying court orders this Christmas, the child told her sister when we went to pick her up { I want to go but mommy says i can not } her sister does not live with the mother she choose to live with her father , most police would do was file the report and now the mother has to go in front of a judge , the mother also had my 7 yr olds tonsils taken out knowing i wanted a second opinion on it since she never told the doctors about the child being a 2 smoker home and van . I got one doctor to say smoking is doing damage but the courts didn't postpone a needless surgery , now she did this SUGGESTED surgery at Christmas time in hopes a judge will let her off of interference of custody, but the doctor himself said theres no reason if the child wants to go she should not . the other 2 children are band from the house as they in the mothers words DISRESPECTFUL , no they know the truth , before she met this looser who owes 116,373 bucks in back support for 3 kids he wont take care of in NY , she didnt even want her own kids , now that this man has his sucker he wants mom to get child support so HE dont have to work and can stay under the radar of his own child support . , mother is also hiding behind the system with lies BUT the lies are coming to an end { i hope for the children } the system is flawed and only hurts the children .

"There is no loss for a female in these United states." I'm afraid there is. Gentlemen, the sad truth is that if you leave a toxic relationship from a woman like this one, think about what that woman will do to the next, normal and decent woman you could become involved with. Think about the innocent children you might have that could include both girls and boys, from a second relationship with a non-abusive woman. Those children will be targeted by the female alienator and she will train and reward her children - your biological children - to attack and abuse them. These aren't "blended family" issues. These issues result from the system's weakness and blindness allowing evil women full rein to lie about ANYBODY, including second wives, stepchildren and even friends, acquaintances, pastors and relatives of the second wife. The "system" cannot and will not prosecute the majority of parental kidnapping cases, and even when they do, they are unable to enforce their decisions. Being a convicted felon means nothing if you already have nothing to lose. You cannot pay any restitution if you have no job, no home, no property and no prospects - and in fact, your job was trying to destroy your ex-husband's life for well over a decade. And what if your evil ex-wife marries someone who is worse and crazier than she is, and both feed off each other's craziness? If you think this is bad, think about a system that finds it equally difficult to prosecute and incarcerate child sexual predators. Think about how "efficient" those parole officers were who went to the house of Phillip Garrido in Northern California dozens of times over an 18 year period and even got calls from neighbors commenting on the children playing in the back yard. Jaycee Dugard was only 11 years old when snatched from her school bus stop by Garrido and his enabler/co-criminal wife. Think about what the parents of beautiful, wonderful young Amber Dubois and Chelsea King learned when they found out that the man who had raped and murdered both girls had been released as a "non violent" or "non dangerous" sex offender and had violated his parole dozens of times with no consequences. Some of those violations allowed him to commit both rapes and murders, a year apart. In "fighting" for women's rights, the end result is a travesty that has destroyed families, destroyed happy lives, made it almost possible for men who've gone through toxic relationships and divorces to recover - and looks the other way and pays no attention to the most violent possible predators. John Albert Gardner, the killer of both girls, was the son of a mother who enabled him to do these murders, and who alienated him from his decent father while growing up. Garrido was enabled by a woman who may well have been more evil than the criminal himself. He couldn't have kidnapped Jaycee without her, and she watched while Jaycee was raped over and over and lived in a tent in a back yard and had two babies by herself in a cold outdoor garage.
The alienator that abused my boyfriend picked a real doozy to dump him for. I don't know about these vicious criminals for no reason. Our system likes these alienator women so much that - they can get away with exactly what they want, no matter what harm it does to their own children or - as we all know the family court is not concerned - any other children whatsoever.

It's Christmas, and I am thinking of the kids destroyed that I know about. The mother falsely accused and worked tirelessly to destroy her ex-husband and turn their children against him (took ten years). In his place, she put a genuinely abusive man who freely physically harmed the children and did untold mental/emotional abuse. To my knowledge, they are homeless, penniless, and two of the children missed massive amounts of school and both fell behind at least one grade if not more. The kids went from sharing a single room in a dingy apartment to in the case of one, being kidnapped and dragged here and yonder homeless. And it all started with a false abuse accusation, when she was the frequent mental and emotional abuser, including some physical abuse. This person went from college graduate with a good job and friends to someone estranged from her own family, few if any friends, no home, and being a convicted felon. And she's sure "in the right" - a real "abuse victim."

Effectively, one could at least theorize, by "corralling" the various branches of "separate & equal" and likewise doing away with any "community standards" for ethics -- e.g., why else might bar association(s) counsel "their" members of (the at least once) honorable learned professions to ignore oaths/obligations as might otherwise be owing to guardianship of Liberty.
Continuing with this proposed premise (arguendo), a corralling of E, J & L in turn can lead (at least metaphorically speaking) to a single-legged "stool" structure for what has at least previously been widely and proudly touted as a stable three legged stool structure for supporting the seat unto/for civil society.
Alternatively, but of like effect, consider a "fourth leg" addition to the three legged stool: A. Whereby, per coined expression of Ms. Phylis Schlafly, zealots "Gov[ern] by Regulation Instead of Law". And, when in absent functionally operable provisions of APA, a Pinocchio Principal may further take hold. In liking to addicted addicts ("IV-mainliners"), lies can garner more power/money/jubilation; whereby, the fourth leg addition will grow with each lie until the other three legs of an otherwise functionally operable "separate and equal" civil community structure are rendered superficial.
And today, within our more emphatically enlightened arenas (consistent with living document "thinkers" of emotional "inchworms"), conflict-of-interest ventriloquist voice o'r those of whom "they" allege unable to speak (such as, we the people).
For example, ask Ms. Hillary Rodham of any understanding with respect to hate "vessels" christened "best interest".
For example, ask Mr. David Gray Ross of any hate "vessels" providing IV-lines to System and Method Inc.
For example, ask Ms. Donna Shalala of any clever avenues of "IV-mainliners" with ripe "vessels" for/to more.
For example, ask Ms. Elena Kagan of any deft IV-D mainlining maneuvers about our "home plate" of American Apple Pie. [governance by regulation instead of law]
For example, ask Bank of America of their contractual rapports with the State of California via the IV-mainline already securely tapped into their candy mountain of (y)our social security.
For example, ask IBM of their co-dependent rapports with such BoA for IV-mainlining into veins already ripe from previous fortnights.
For example, ask Maximus of their role in developing such learned habits to dealing da junk.
For example, ask Ms. Tani Cantil-Sakauye of the early initiations of the glory-day contracts of Maximus with the state of California by which to condition their at least then sensitive veins with "special interests" for tasting the IV-mainline.
For example, ask Mr. David Stillman, IV-D director of/for Department of Social and Health Services of/for the State of Washington regarding inabilities of IV-mainliners to satiate their insatiable needs for more.
Yes, we certainly are an icon to emulate. Don't you think?
With sincerity of expression, concern and good-will,
- just adadBTW, it has been further speculated that Lockheed Martin contracted with/for computers to IRS via and/or together with their like co-dependent "IV-mainliners".

1st time I actually get to watch this... it's an "I honestly didn't do anything wrong!" warning to men particularly for a woman's "oh no! you just didn't!..." whack bullshit.
Women so casually begin to think they have all the emotional momentum and power to draw virtually any line in the sand any time they feel it selfishly benefits them (these are Bitches, boys, not real Women!!!)--but no more especially if and when they have a well-manicured litany of wrongs to cite from... I was watching the movie Munich last night, and i was struck how the main character's wife told him unabashedly (at the time, benignly) "I'm goin along with this...until I don't...I'm not the ["patriotic" "dutiful"] wife..." and that's exactly, more flatly, a modern woman's scorpion's approach to men, even in "marriage"--"till death do you part" (which doesn't mean jack to a woman either, if it is in her selfish interest to effectively abandon you for selfishly-justified "better" pleasures/pastures). (I somehow recall how Job's wife told him "Curse God and die"...grrrrr...there's a lesson from God about who's really watching your back!)
but what do some men do about it? many do succumb to being the insidiously "anticipated" resentful Worst a woman can call out of a man. wtf is there to lose, some think, lacking even an acquaintance's/stranger's dignity to the clearly spiteful unforgiving woman. but it is interesting to see the lengths to which so many women will "boldly" go to entitle themselves in their own self-prescribed "dignity"--even in the stark "admission" of maddening wrong doing. Women are more pathetically vain at a man's expense than they'll ever ever have the sense to admit. So pathetically many men suffer for them...but for what??? Why? Feminist stupidity.
If the same feminist insensitivities to masculinity were tuned to clearer reception from a man's pov, this ugly-ass passive-aggressive botch would admit to deserving more than a beating for ten months in today's jails (some people die in there, and if not physically...certainly, spiritually) if she ever even had the "courtesy" to get one (I think she deserves one for such horrible misgivings in total self-justification, and almost a total lack of remorse)... Yes, how convenient to her interests that she's STILL re-living the first year of her marriage in probably the very distant present just for our viewing pleasures and her (ahem) "integrity" =D .. this is a sure Bitch with gripes she'd rather hang onto for life. So many women are like a slow-eating rot in the bones. Or like trying to walk on a broken ankle...or seeing a beautiful rings, in the snouts of an unappreciative PIGS.
They don't deserve to eat us alive, Men. Such so self-entitled don't even deserve a Man! though they certainly think We really need to deserve them...or "uh no...you just didn't!!!"...to their perfect bitter ends, and you unforgiving Bitches know exactly who you are even when we see you miles away! _|_ _|_
I mean, after all, weren't 'all' things at least alright...i mean, at least, until that Bitch Eve came around thinking she knew better than everybody else, including God Himself ;)~ anyone remember her "better" advice then??? heh
You shouldn't trust too many women in your lives, Men. It's only more selflessly enlightened women who are the greatest treasures, and the very hardest to find!!! =) And I think in a moment the aphorism--namely that it takes a mother 20+ years to make a man, only to have another women make of fool of the same in less than 20 minutes--may very well be seen as true cancer in today's "modern" culture of these increasingly (F-US) Feminist United States...

This is so typical of high conflict divorce and people who cannot move forward with their life, instead of dwelling on what was. Sadly, this is just one of thousands of cases where false allegations are made in a divorce or separation, just to get revenge, control, and from anger. False Allegations are not only criminal but they are deliberately done to destroy another person's life. When anyone, but particularly a man is accused of abuse, especially sexual abuse, until that case is resolved, that person losses their job, their friends, their family, their life. The suicide rate is astronomical in these cases of falsely accused, especially when you add on Child Support, which the judges refuse to modify when the accused has lost their job. It does not matter if the charges have not been proven, the sole intent purpose of this fraud and defamation/slander is to make sure that the other person hurts and suffers. In cases, where children are involved and are forced to lie, it devastates these kids for life, because deep downside they know it is false. When these kids finally figure it out and own it, they feel so guilty and many become suicidal.
Until our courts and legal system catch up to this abuse and start to put strong safety nets in place to protect innocent victims from false allegations, attorney's and ex-spouses will continue to abuse the system to their benefit.

Joan_Kloth_Zanard:
If you look to the State of Washington, the "courts and the legal system" have thus far been priming the pay for hate, discrimination and invigoration of ill-will.
Consider, for example, various District Attorneys of the executive of the State that contract with the "Courts" of the judicial of the State for tendering of "preferential" services to the Executive via "compassionate social services."
Consider, also for example, that various Contractors of Governmental Services unto the State(s) tender with How To's unto the State Executive, Legislative, Judicial and Agency(s) branches/heads by which to "plunder" the Federal Dole. Of course, via the greasing of skids per the "preferential" services as referenced above.
Consider, also for example, that various Bar Association(s) unto at least the State of Washington lend counsel to sworn officers of the law and associated attorneys to "ignore their oaths and obligations."
Consider, also for example, that even the American Bar Association upon becoming informed thereby of such bizarre event didn't even have the honor, dignity or ethics to respond to such concerning communication of the Washington State Bar Association for lending counsel to "ignore your oaths and obligations."
Consider, also e.g., that the chair to the the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association of similar era has used the Chair position as nothing more than bully pulpit by which to propagate ideology totally repugnant to some of the most honored tenants and virtues to American Liberty and Freedoms.
Consider, also for example, as you can likely appreciate by now, that none of the above is fictional; rather, it has taken place within an era of our more enlightened civil community(s).
But, if we might be so ignorant as to sustain light of hope in the lanterns shining for the dignity of we humble beings of failed humanity; we can begin looking to the MAFIA.
Yes, the Modern Alienating Fascist/Fematicals In Association (and In America too!) who venture forth with motives and crimes much in liking to that MAFIA of presumably our past by-gone era.
Consider, for example, Maximus. Yes, Maximus is one of the IV-mainlining racketeers who sponsors many different camps/retreats for "governmental officials." Additionally, Maximus is in the business of "governmental services." Additionally, Maximus can lend "independent" audits for the various "states" of the United States regarding State's "conformity" to Law.
But of what law, you may ask?
Certainly, not that associated with upholding the Constitution of the United States. I mean, what are you going to do. Sentence Maximus to death for its commission of acts of Treason? What of the other IV-mainliners who too have grabbed-hold of the "best interest" vessel for release of "uncheck" biases and prejudices? Are we going to round them up as well?
Consider, e.g., a litmus for "fundamental liberty" interests -- compelling State interest, the means to achieve it is of minimal level of interference, & it's tailored closely to such aim. Contra, Maximus of the Orwellian art for "maximus levels of interference for achieving suspect self-interests (via the State)."
Yes, the vast majority of "defenders of Liberty, and pursuers of Justice" up to present seemly take apathetic posture relative some of the most important fundamental liberty interests. Worse yet, we find many of those who are equipped with knowledge of the quagmire taking willful advantage of present "derailments" for "profit," instead of tending for Liberty and Justice.
Let us fertilize American lands with Liberty and Justice, thereby cultivating an abundance of Opportunity -- i.e., opportunity(s) even for lending joy to little red hens for/of joyous toil in (even) American soil.
IV-mainliners need be brought to further light!

There is nothing like the scorn of the woman. All guy's should learn from this, it is very important, the state takes any female accusation and will prosecute you for free. As long as she is willing to play along she doesn't care. Period ! There is no loss for a female in these United states. Can the Guy afford to have her prosecuted, what does it cost, about 15-60 thousand dollars for a private civil prosecution and then some, and then he has to get it enforced. You may win but you cannot collect.
Will the state prosecute her for making false allegations, hell no. They need the income and evrything else that goes with dividing what was once your lifes worth.
It is a no win situation. Like family court, stay well away from that place and from attorneys, you have everything to lose. Better yet DO NOT have any children and do not get married, both items are a losing proposition.Go to www.mediaradar.org to work out how easy this federally funded form of penal system works.
Then go to ;
http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/nij/topics/crime/intimate-partner-violence/practical-im... ch3/gender.htmThis shows how it does not matter whether you are innocent or not all that matters is the government makes the numbers. Can you imagine how many males, particularly dads are languishing in prison because of these accusations.
All I can say is as long as attorneys control the implementation of laws for profit the public should be very afraid indeed, there is worse to come. They work in every legislature and they represent their businesses first. Every year they authorize billions of dollars for feminism and rabid hate groups, but that is seed money compared to the revenue it generates. Which is about a half trillion dollars, for employment that is directly beneficial to the state and state employment or contracts. It's the biggest rabbit hole in history. What is truly worse is that the intent is deliberate and is happening in a town near you everyday. DV laws expedite the removal of fathers from their children and family assets, after all in no fault laws there is no fault so we have to invent a process that overcomes this impediment.

"Revenue" is far to gracious, as it seems to lend a flavor of legitimacy.
When we perhaps eventually realize the truer character of the "takings" via duping and/or even outright fraud, we might then call the spade a spade: embezzlement (certainly, in not too few circumstances).

Yes, most of my relationships in life have been fine, normal, and loving and at worst civilized in the exit. But I did mistakenly and unknowingly end up dating a few 'bad apples' (a.k.a. 'bad girls') that lied their way into my life and in the most unfortunate of circumstances, traumatized the hell out of me. There are certain women out there that will falsely accuse men of violence at the drop of a hat in fits of (drug-fueled?) anger...and it's a learned, conditioned, accepted? behavior just like the way evil, twisted, and abused/abusive mindsets work in strip clubs. And the police will believe them. And some cops use their power to f*ck strippers too. And yes, as Butch pointed out, some environments and scenarios breed such mindsets, and you can't try to save or help them...or if you try to and get close, then hurt their feelings about some little thing like finding out they've been lying cheating on/to you and reject them and ask them to leave your house...they might get angry over some insane nonsense that's happened in their past and start speaking in twisted labels like 'all men are the same' and then do evil sh*t like run to the police (while high on drugs) and accuse you of things that are verifyably untrue...then later actually remotely actually understand the psychological damage their anger, abuse, and false accusations caused and even breakdown crying in apology and guilt...but in the meantime they have already told other official parties a different story in order to gain the sympathy they desired at the time...and these are the type of mindsets that are conditioned to lie as a way of life...so they can never have the two sides in the same room or they will be caught in their lies...and...
Well, needless to say I too unfortunately had a few nightmarish scenarios and the lies they told to me were one thing, but when I found out the lies they told about me it traumatized me. It literally traumatized me because my mind could not understand how I could try to help an ex-g/f (who I hadn't dated in over 3 years) as a friend and 'save' her from crystal meth only to find out she said that I hit her when she was angry and high one day? WTF? She must have gotten the men in her life confused or something, but it devastated me. I mean really. It destroyed me inside. My mind could not understand how you could put your life and well-being on the line to help someone and they could do such a thing just to get attention from others...but I've learned that's what those 'serial' types do. So just be careful. Luckily I ultimately used my video and home security cameras as protection from the lies during that period and plan to turn the entire thing into a documentary one day, but no one should have to experience such and evil catalyst behind a force as powerful and presumed to be 'good' as the police...and that's what the current stereotypes and laws do. It's a Lady Gaga/Jersey Shore-type world these days....I wish to God it were still like the 50's when my role models were growing up, but it's not, and the laws need to change to reflect that.
They need to do psychological evaluations on the parties involved not just take their word for it, because the repercussions of even being falsely accused (if not arrested) can be emotionally devastating.

This brings back some bad memories. Because not only did she lie, but she was the one who was cheating. (Several times.) She also abused both of our children and is now very behind in child support. And as my experience do not go to a 12 Step program and date any women from there. The chances are very high that you will end up with a woman like this.

This brings back bad memories of what I went threw and she was the one who cheated. Not once, but several times. The accusations hurt as well as punished me for something I didn't do while the truth be told that she was the actual abuser of both me and our children. Meanwhile the abuse still happens verbally over the phone to mostly our daughter and because she outright refuses to pay child support. But now due to other people witnessing her she is now on a very fine line with red flags with Child Protection. For you see this abuser went out and immediately got herself pregnant again. And this is somebody who is in no way a mother to any of these children.
It also seems you can find many women like her around 12 Step meetings as well as your local bar. So matbe the supermarket or a church is better off to find someone to date at. But not even chrchs are safe from what I hear.

Brotherlelo,
Thank you for sharing your story. Unfortunately your story is not uncommon, thanks to VAWA and DV laws. I also completely agree with you that today’s men are sacrificed for the profit. So next time we hear a man charged with DV or rape of the spouse/girlfriend we should wonder how much cash flow has this generated? Lawyers, prosecutors, judges, privatized prisons, psychologists, child protective services, federal grants for domestic violence victims, “victim” advocates, non-profit support groups gaining federal and state grants.
Should real victims of domestic violence faced with a dry well for supportive funds available to them?
Is it moral to prosecute innocent men to improve our economy?
Is it moral to encourage women to falsely accuse men for financial gain, legal status achievement, revenge outlet?
Thank you to men like you for speaking up!

My House was given to a woman who never kissed or slept in my room; I'm living in my garage like a rat while she enjoys my house with another man. Her brother threatened my live and I called up 911. The police came and she started crying and told the police I slopped her so her illegal brother would not be arrested. On the trial the police was even going to testify that he saw a red mark on her face and that I created the dead threat to invalidate me slopping her face. The lawyers go after the men because the men have the money. This is a trend nationwide. The courts exist to enable lawyers to extract money from their main victims, their clients. The judge's job is to keep the case going to maximize billable hours for the lawyers. Our whole society is designed to ensure that women do not have to support themselves or have any accountability in any way. Justice is carefully removed from the legal system by design because it interferes with profits. The women have nothing to lose. They create jobs for police, court, lawyers, therapist, and so on and you have to pay it all. She will get unlimited free legal help and rewarded for her acting. She will get advised how to lie to police, the court and everybody to make believe you are crazy, violent and a physical and mental abuser.

This woman is absolutely and utterly pathetic.
It is way past the time for sugar coated words and soft approaches. Woman like her are responsible in a very significant way for much of the harm that goes on in this nation's family law courts. Not only should she be fined by the court for her perjury, but she should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. It is my understanding that in this case, as reported by Glenn Sacks of Fathers & Families, the local prosecutor chose not to press charges against her even though the judge in the civil court openly stated he should.
Depriving a child of a fit, willing, and able parent (usually the male) so that you can collect child support has nothing to do with “the best interest of the child.” This behaviour is unequivocally a strong indication of moral depravity. And allowing this woman, and any person male or female, to get away with this only serves to encourage continued abuse of the courts and does nothing to serve the child’s psychological/developmental needs.

Yes, I had various video cam system and video car alarm ideas - but soon the cell lines will enable more types of recording and will their use will become more prevalent - and it may become rather normal for people record their various social encounters for this exact subject.
There would soon be tight laws defining as to exactly what can and can not be done with such video.
So, just as likely, it would become quite common and acceptable for people to inform their lovers that a device is running.

MFT, the aspect of privacy is the key.... can one reasonably expect a legal aspect of privacy when in someone elses property?? This is how we are allowed to have security cameras, because if it is not your property, your privacy is not implied.... Just as having a conversation in a crowded resturaunt, one cannot have a reasonable expectation of privacy..... traffic cameras are allowed because there is no privacy on a public road.... Most of the limitations on recording are if you are on or in someone elses property and they have an expectation of privacy, or electronic comunications IF the state is not a "single party state"..... crossing state lines is federal jurisdiction and not allowed unless disclosed.... Most states do allow such protection....

Well, things would change - in fact will change. Because these companies will soon see many marketable uses, which they will take advantage of. You will have cams in cars, maybe in each of the turn-signal lights. These will record a number things, breakins, keying by passer-bys, road-rage - which is a freedom that would soon end, bad cops, good cops - any accidents - which will quickly become a demanded item for insurance adjusters. Other people's car cams will see you when you're walking down the street.
You will have cams on your street lights, on your house lights and entry-way lights (as some as now). You will have many options. Computers will have standard video down-feed systems so, in case you don't have a security firm, and your internet server isn't available, your home system can receive your security footage.
We'll walk in a world that everyone knows is recorded by someone if not from multiple angles at all times.
And as far as women are concerned, They'll have that bad actor on video - and you'll have your innocence on video.
And that's just the way it will be.

Video - on cops cars and on cops themselves, in their badges, in their hats, on the their guns - will help transform people.
One of the first notions that crosses the mind is 'how do I appear to others?' - This opens the door to more such introspection - that helps mature a person, who otherwise might never think about a damn thing their whole life through.

Yes, I have thought we have needed the cops - and prosecutors to 'clean house' - where they could be seen by everyone as an asset during stress. Just as EMTs are an asset. Everyone is glad to see emergency medical people show up when needed.
That's how a re-shaped structure for police and prosecutors might allow their reputation.
IF - such could be attained, everyone in the country would be a long way toward feeling we had a unified populace - and the country we have all expected.

At least she didn't cheat on him then do that to him after he found out. Right? Those double-evil scenarios are the real bone chillers.
Well, at least she admitted it...finally. Which means at some point she might actually now be able to apologize instead or directing even more false blame even if it's not in her nature. How sad. That is certainly not the love we all dream of.
I don't know her, I don't know him, and I don't even know the story much less the detailed story much less the true detailed story...but damn it's scary to see the extent to which some people will lie and destroy others lives without second thought because they never get caught or have any repercussions due to the twisted legal system. Mortifying. I've stumbled across a handful bad people and circumstances in my life, and some of the behavior I witnessed truly traumatized me on a level that I believe it should be considered a crime...or at least have a system in place that prevents such things.
When in doubt just protect yourself with a videocamera.
I wonder how many other stories there are out there like this? And then on the other end of the spectrum you've got guys acting like Tiger Woods and actually doing damage in other ways. Such as Hofstra student who made up gang rape story admitted that she lied only after being shown cell-phone video footage of the sexual encounter or the Taxi cab driver falsely accused of sexually molesting two women. What happened in the taxi was caught on a video camera http://www.cbc.ca/canada/edmonton/story/2009/05/15/edmonton-cab-driver-lawsuit.h...No charges were ever filed against these women.

The reluctance to prosecute false allegations is a worldwide problem. When people make such accusations and it is proven false there is absolutely no criminal charges made against them...... The claim is that if there is prosecution of such actions, it will prevent people who suffer from abuse from getting the help they need. In reality to ensure that instances of abuse are reported we need to teach our children early in life that they should never stand for such actions. There are literally thousands of such cases per year in the US alone.

This is disgusting. Not only did her lying imprison a man who should not have been imprisoned (or at least for what we know, should not have been for spousal abuse) but this kind of crap might have the potential to make it more difficult to convict spouses who actually abuse their husband/wives.

No it won't because the courts find for women all the time. They have always done that.
One of the problems with women is they have always thought they can play games as their normal psychological discourse, and always have been playing games - and get away with it - and even if it is as criminal as it can possibly get (the nuttier they are), they get away with it.Maybe it gos back to childhood - where I remember in about 5th or 6th grade, if a guy said something shitty, you would smack 'em. And I always wondered what made girls so immune to the same social courtesies. Why should they get away with being a shithead?
If there were an equality law where women HAD to do as much time as normally required for men - then that might slowly sink in.
But since girls have been coddled all their lives and their predilection for sliding all around, in back of and under the game table, and their skills at being deceptive having been appreciated by peers and society alike, I doubt that they will change. Only the very smart can truly break hard habits. But some are good.

treewolf, this is absolutely real and happens very often. A woman's statements about abuse is almost always taken as golden regardless of evidence to the contrary. Just look at what happened recently to Charlie Sheen.....

I know what you mean first hand. I'm just amazed that the woman in this video is talking to Phil and is not behind bars. I have witnessed both sexes lying and the way the court reacts. My last relationship ended because of her violence. I was very lucky to end up with my child half the time. I was ignored in court and the only reason I came out ok was because she did not deny the things she had done. I understand the fear of losing your child to a lie. I am not out of the woods yet. I stand on truth and walk my talk. The truth is nice guys finish last.

It is very difficult to believe real victims of abuse knowing that women abuse judicial system for revenge and falsely accuse their spouse.
