There was a time when it was said any qualified person of American Birth could run for the presidency but this is and was fiction. Other recent posts are pointing out some real crazy things going on. He's reversed most everything he said in election season. He's a bigger war President than Bush. He's changed the name of the Republic to Council of Governors, just posted and paraphrased so sorry if not exact. He issued an order the first day of his Presidency saying from this point on Presidents will tell us what background information will be released? Chertoff buys up stock on body scanners and then we have an admittedly CIA involve faux terrorist attack. Within days millions of dollars of these are ordered. Houston is now using military drones for surveillance on citizens. I feel like Iraq during the WMD buildup days. I mean, did I miss something or is the war coming home?

I just have a feeling, me not being Republican and never have been, that people are about to start eating their votes for Obama, I already have.

When the Archivist provides notice to the incumbent and former Presidents of his intent to disclose Presidential records pursuant to section 1270.46 of the NARA regulations, the Archivist, using any guidelines providied by the incumbent and former Presidents, shall identify any specific materials, the disclosure of which he believes may raise a substantial question of executive privilege.”

Now for all of you who commented on our previous articles that we were no more that right-wing nut jobs, that this thing about Obama’s birth certificate was a non-issue, and those of you who tried to shift the focus of the stories, doesn’t this strike you as just a little odd?

That the first order of business Obama took care of on day one of his Presidency was to sign off on an Executive Order that states that only the records he chooses to be made public will be released?

This is the subject that was at the absolute top of his agenda?

If this isn’t proof that Obama is hiding something, I don’t know what is.

That is the main reason I think he should just put the long form out there as well as his work history and school records and put an end to the question.

I'm no more sure about the proof in the video than I am that the certificate of live birth is real or even that it qualifies. He's hiding school records and more. I just want to know what's up and what he's hiding. I voted for him and was registered Democrat. The more I've found out about what is going on in this country the more I wonder if voting is worth it. At least for the two main parties. A "Certification of Live Birth" is a short form birth certificate. The information included in the document may differ from state to state. The Certificate of Live Birth generally has more information which is useful for genealogical purposes as compared to the Certification of Live Birth which is a computer-generated printout that provides specific details of a person's birth. Although original birth certificates (Certificates of Live Birth) are preferred for their greater detail, the State Department of Health (DOH) no longer issues Certificates of Live Birth. When a request is made for a copy of a birth certificate, the DOH issues a Certification of Live Birth.

So, a long form Certificate has additional information on it that that is useful for genealogical purposes, however both the certificate and the certification are certified government records providing prima facia proof of the information they contain.

Take a good look at the one in Vierotchka's link though, there would be a photocopy image of the original stamped seal. Not there. Not even a current seal. The layout doesn't even look right. Doesn't look like a copy either looks freshly typed in from computer and he was born Barry Soetoro and later changed to Barack Obama so it's kinda strange, guess they forgot that when they produced the fake.

When you request a birth certificate from most states (even many foreign countries), including Oregon and California, birth records are electronic records that produce a pristine new sheet of paper with an official seal from the state. They did not take the route of micro fiche, because it was too costly.

I happen to have my original birth certificate and it is is very sad shape, being that it is 48 years old, I keep it in an acid free sheath.
