The solar eclipse on January 15 will be a rare and beautiful sight in the new year, when 92 per cent of the sun gets eclipsed by the moon, leaving only a thin annulus or bangle like shining ring in the sky.

First, it was a blue moon that I just managed to see, now its a solar eclipse somewhere that, no matter what, I won't be able to see.
Damn, I feel left out... please come to Canada, solar eclipses. :(

Lucky southern India! The only full solar eclipse i was apparently in the right area for took place when I was in first grade. they kept us inside for obvious reasons.
