Yes, I always liked that speech. Obama showed his true colors when he dismissed his own preacher because what he said wasn't politically correct. Preachers aren't supposed to be PC. Just preach it, the truth, that is.

They are all a bunch of crooks. We need to get rid of the Fed. and start prosecuting all of these criminals. We can not depend on our govt. officials to fight this battle because they are all bought out by somebody.This is a great post and I love it every time Ron Paul speaks out.

Ron Paul is right. Debasing the currency is a very serious problem. Speaking as an ex-bank CFO, I think it is perhaps the most serious national problem we have (along with the national debt!).

I don't think he does which is probably why his assesment of the situation tends to drift toward the overly simplistic/populist.

That video says, "The bankers are not to blame ... only the government bureaucrats." That is some serious spin.

Allen Greenespan is the one to blame. If people would have just stopped and thought. "hum i wonder if we keep interest rates to low and keep printing money out of nothing are we going to have a problem?"

It is true. I am a business major and i still don't understand why we need inflation! Banks literally control the creation of money and those who save are penalized through inflation. The system wants people in debt because if you are in debt then you wont talk back to your supervisor because you have those bills to pay!! I say back to the gold standard, Ron Paul for President, and transparency for the FED ( up untill we ban the idea of a central bank)

I'm not really sure how Ron Paul's racist quotes has any relevance to the discussion about the banking crisis.
