And to also add, "shanklinmike" your obvious out of touch response proves you know not much about what is going on in this world except for your own sanitary black and white political opinions, and that you had no clue as to what Mr. Patel was talking about. Markets that only place a price on the "commodity" without consideration for those environmental effects, slavery, violence, war, etc that go into its making are false barometers of worth, and have only led this world into more environmental devastation, economic turmoil, violence and war to keep up the insatiable greed without morals such markets engender. Which in the end only inhibits true growth through environmental preservation, social equality, and freedom.

Hopefully more people in 2010 will see just how important food sovereignty is in not only bringing people out of poverty, but in mitigating climate change, global warming, economic depression, violence towards women and children, bringing freedom to so many who don't have it now who are caught up in the corporate agriculture scam, andpreserving the Earth's biodiversity. Then perhaps we will see more discussion of a truly crucial issue for the world this century. But then, this isn't sensationalistic in title or about religion, celebrities, or Fox news, so I suppose it doesn't rate conversation on Current.

For the millionth time, the government backed corporatist sector has NOTHING to do with free markets. It is about control, not freedom! You don't even understand the base of free markets, let alone what they look like. We have been central planned by the government backed corporatist sector for a long time, and you just continue the cycle of centralization.
This guy is clueless of sprawl theory...
Plus, from $4 to $200?!?!?!? Is this guy insane? The "Environmental" costs?!?!? You have got to be joking me..... Cost of slavery?!? He doesn't understand the first thing about harmonization or equilibrium markets, he is absolutely clueless.
Corporations are given power by the government, where do you think property rights protection stems from, all the corporations are in bed with government!!! This guy is crazy to equate the current government backed corporatist state with laissez-faire free market capitalism, what a joke..... I can't take anymore of these lies....I have to turn off the video....
Clueless
