    • Unamatrrix why dont you go suck on a fascist lemon. Ron Paul is one of the few near decent people in Washington. He has no runaway dreams of a global union. He has l;aid the dream plans to regain control of the America Mafia. Why dont you grab a seat of one of those red hot drone missiles in Pakistan and find out just what has happened in this country since 1776. If you are satisfied with hate and fascism I suggest you are in the wrong country or on the wrong planet. Are you and Bombastinator trying to hasten the destruction of our constitution? It is the only guarantee in the world that will keep us free if we can ever get the legal representation to arrest the entire washington establishgment.

    • Bombastinator you can just build a big bubble over you and your property if you have any while Ron Paul Leads the real Americans, Citizens and veterans to a revolution whether it is a bloodless revolt or otherwise, just where will you be when the real justice and ethics of American hood it re-established. Are you going to be cramming to be first in line asking Ron Paul for your piece of the free America that it was originated for 233 years ago? America is full of gate crashers and bullies rushing to push decent people aside so they can get theri piece of the cheese. Just where do you stand when people are claiming their constitutional guarantees for a free Nation that guarantees the "right to life, lierty and the pursuit of happiness". There are more Ron Pauls and there are many anti Ron Pauls. Which gang of fascists do you belong to?

    • It seems like the only time that fake liberals and neoconsevatives can come together is when they attack Ron Paul and the 9/11 truth movement. Not that either Ron Paul or the 9/11 truth movement are perfect, but this is something that I've seen over the years.

    • Our forefathers or rather out original representatives had joined together to form a more perfect union and I am sure that they were honorable but there were also some self serving representatives who were opposed to abolishing slavery and many of the other freedom guarantees and since then more and more of our reppresentatives had succumbed to the treachery and control of the wealthy and the Banking elite. In other words corrupt politicians and corrupt government has been around so long it has become the embellishment of our society. We Americans have become in the eyes of the world the same bundle of corrupt values that have become the hallmark of Americanism. The world has been told how great we are as a nation. The Statue of Liberty has broadcast the sacred words to the world and because of these inscribed words the world has flocked to us for freedoms that they did not have in their own nations under tyrants and dictators, many dictators we has installed so that they would follow the directions of our worldly leaders. We Americans have not always been a seperate independent nation above the treachery and despotism of the World. We have secretly invaded other nations and installed our own bought and paid for dictators who did our bidding for many years and excercised barbaric control over their subjects. I'm referring to our CIA overthrow of Iran in 1953 and the installation of the Shah who tortured his own people as the present leaders are doing. We installed our own dictators in Panama, Guatemala, Hondorus. Columbia and anywhere Corporate America has ordered our nation to take over whether peacefully or through corruptive practices of economic hit men. We have been controlled by the corruptive practices of the financial and corporate America for so long we have accepted it as government functioning normally in the meantime since the Constitution was signed and sealed we have exterminated the American Indians on the western march to an Imperial America. Wer have subdued the Confederates in the south. Contrary to popular belief, the Civil War was not fought to free the slaves it was a war of economics. John Brown was hanged by the north in Harpers Ferry because of his efforts to free the slaves. So lets get American History facts out in the open. Something that we have lacked for 200 years is transparency so why should we open it up now? To show the people the real America. We have lived too a lie long now. Its time for the truth. We the people and our fathers and grandfathers and great grandfathers are guilty for letting this happen. Corruption is not normal in a decent honorable democratic society or in any society for that matter and economics are the problem. The educated greedy people of long ago discovered what Mr Rothschild had proposed; "That if he could control a nations wealth he didnt care who made the laws because the lawmakers can be bought off and also controlled" and deep down I believe that this is the creed of the House of Rothschild and all of the worlds Central Banks. All controlling the millions of people without their awareness. Our own Federal Reserve Bank should be a good example of that. Why is it that people cannot understand as President Lincoln knew in 1860, Why should he pay the central Banks outrageous interest rates when he can print his own money and return his low interest back into the US Treasury. Some even believe that any president who messes around with the printing of money will end up on a slab in the Morgue. Lincoln was slain for some reason and many believe it was because he made the USA the real Federal Bank and not some crooked outsiders. It is also believed that John F. Kennedy also was assassinated for the same reason. Money whether Fiat, real or counterfeit is powerful and deadly. Too many men of the secret world of finance control not only power but life and death. And it will not stop until, We accept that The USA can also make its own money without the interference of the evil profiteers outside of the Government. I did not mention the CIA, but the CIA are the instruments for all and any to contract their dirty work whether as hitmen ot drug runners aor whatever they are virtually the same as the Blackwater people. Washington has plenty of military and police enforcement to use for the control of both domestic and foreign adversaries. In other words the people.

    • Ragan:

      Ragan,
I never said all our founders were perfect with good intentions. Yet there were indeed a good many who did mean well, and did their best to try to pave the way.
You are correct in saying that politics were corrupt, even back then. Before he dies, Washington wrote about his disgust for the way the political world had changed, and how it was going from freedom to bureaucratic control. The one and only reason he had the first bank of the United States established was that he was not an economist, and had a very low understanding of central banks - when one actually reads his letters and other texts, one finds that he had no want to control the people, and firmly believed that a strong belief in one political system would create parties that would divorce the new government from its people - so he washed his hands of it.
The statue of Liberty was actually placed in the 1880's, and its call to all people as the first freedom beacon to the worlds poor etc would have disgusted our founders - with good reason. Look where immigration has gotten us. I am not a huge Machiavelli fan, but he was correct when he said that the more diverse a country grows, the more it will lose its sense of self, and go downhill from there. We had enough issues in our country before that, and the last thing we needed was even more diversity in our politics that greatly aided in the creation of bureaucracies. Yes it is good to help the poor from other countries, but how many immigrants does it take who pride their homeland ideals over those of our founders? How twisted would our history lessons grow with such diverse interpretation from those who do not know it in its entirety?
As for bankers - yes they are an issue, and the point has been argued for their dismissal since the 1790's by the few honest politicians our country has ever had.
The problem I have with your analysis is that it covers only a brief number of events and time, and leave out too much.
I will pose to you the same question I posed before - do you know anyone who works in the CIA or FBI? If not, kindly do not assume that they are all crooks. You would actually find that a good number honestly believes that they are helping, and in many ways, many do. Problems is their efforts are often undermined by out politics, and many choose to seperate themselves when the find this out.
When you say the 'CIA' you need to remember that a good number in the CIA in the 50's were not even aware what the others were doing. The ones who did participate did so because they were wrong - plain and simple. This happened under Eisenhower's time (no suprise there), and resulted in many other issues.

Point is, lets try to discuss this one point at a time.

I still hold to the idea that if the people had been paying attention instead of buying into the propaganda at the time, none of that would have happened, and it is pathetic that today so many do the same.

      Cheers

    • Reaper,
'just sime guy' - lol - aren't you the educated one? :-)

I will make the concession that many of his supporters do fluff themselves up, and have no idea what he is really talking about - I call them bandwagon jumpers.

Yet it is they, not him that are fluffing themselves up. From economic issues to foreign policy, he has been calling this since the 80's - what has your congressman done?

To say that the majority of his people who cannot think for themselves however is hardly true. There are many of us who can think for ourselves (and do), but lacked the voice in the halls of congress to get our voices heard. Ron Paul is that voice for the time being, and he is merely saying what we have been thinking this whole time.

You know so little about him and his supporters (not followers - huge difference), yet offer comments with no point to them. If you think it is insulting to people like me to be called a 'republican', then you are mistaken. I hold no firm belief in any system of government, but if I did, a Republic would be my cup of tea. I get the idea that you see a republican as one of modern day - in which case you would be wrong. If you look at the actions of our founders, and what they sought to accomplish, modern day republicanism is no where close. For the record - they abhorred democracy and it is a shame that is what happened before the last founder drew his last breath. People like Washington hated political parties because he realized that it gave life to corruption. In his eyes, all a republic was supposed to do was quarentee our freedoms - that was it.

Since then, our population has grown over 100%. Yet the money supply increased three times that, even as our gold reserves dropped. As early as the 1930's we had over 600 million ounces of gold - today we have 140.

Ron Paul is not a 'modern republican' as you see him. He has constantly fought with his own party in an effort to guide them back to where they should be. I know you have a million quick come backs in mind for me, but please, lets address this one issue at a time, and lets try to be civil about it ok?

Congressman Dr Ron Paul has never taken an illegal drug a day in his life, even though he is against the Drug War. He's never even seen marijuana but he doesn't want to arrest you if you use it. I suggest you do more research before calling this man crazy, he is spot on...and that should tell you something.....that maybe the way we looked at the world isn't how it truly is...

I have seen the light, I just need more people helping me end statism slavery! Heck, why do you think 1/3 of the world lives in abject poverty?!? It's because of tyranny, not freedom!

    • He's right, it is filled with hitmen and just plain murderers who enjoy killing and the thought of it. They are known as Jackals. What the Economic hitmen cannot complete the assigned revolt, CIA hitmen try and if they cannot bring the revolution about then the President sends the Army and the Marines. Thats according to John perkins and I believe him rather that any politicians or President.

    • I never heard Ron Paul say to abolish the CIA at all. I think what he wants to see is to have the agency either replaced by one that is more accountable with less power, or to impose those restrictions on the current one.
All I can say is that the Agency is used more for political purposes then to deal with real problems. When it comes to sharing information within even its own ranks, such agencies fail miserable. Secret Compartmentalized Information (SCI) - is often kept within a specific section of the federal bureaus (the CIA does not own the monopoly on this stupidity) as a means to minimize security leaks and loss of information in such circumstances. Yet as a result, it is not uncommon for one side to not know what the other is doing, and so a lot of information is often misinterpreted or not getting the attention it deserves.
When you have the above said issues, you have an agency that has a very special set of rules all to its own full of creative thinkers. Problem becomes not all of them are focused on the best interest of the American people, and it only takes a few such people to make a huge mess.
Ron Paul knows this, and tells it like it is - this in no way makes him crazy - just realistic.

      Peace

    • Ron Paul is An American for the American people and for the consitutional government, but too many people are being hurt by Ron Paul's integrity and his truth statements. I am sure that those calling Ron Paul a racist are from the Anti league of Americans. I am referring to all organizations who profess to be Americans for America and yet are trying to blacken the integrity of Ron Paul with the intent of bringing the downfall of America. There are far too many real spies all over America. Every street camera is just as it was described years ago. It isn't uncle Sam spying on us it is the nnasties who will fight for globalism or their paid spy's looking for anything they can get to bring down the constiitutional America.

    • I give my heart to Ron Paul for standing up for humanity. Those that disagree need to re-evaluate their ideals and morals. Indoctrination has KILLED America, you people that disagree, NEED to wake up, if you do not, you're only a causation to FATE, not a SOLUTION.

Turn off the television, stop reading/watching biased news, and most of all, OPEN A BOOK, view documentaries that display TRUTH and FACTS.

      Learn MEDITATION.

Quit the shit already, the game is up, those that have do their homework can EASILY find out what is truly going on here.

CIA, FBI AND NASA ARE NOT PART OF THE UNITED STATES, DO RESEARCH. VIEW THEIR PUBLICATIONS!

And you ask WHY is RON PAUL doing THIS? You say "this guy is absurd!", WHY do you think he would ever SUGGEST THIS?

Do you REALLY think, life is: conceived --> school (left-brain education only taught in American public schools) --> work (you work for someone or represent/own SOMETHING --> die

In between those three main ideas, are just small events: marriage, new car, house, et cetera...

      give me a break.

Competing currencies would handle harmonization and equilibrium pressures. Inflation is not being kept low today. In fact, since the inception of the Federal Reserve, our dollar has decreased 96% in value compared to when it started with the dollar in 1913. It IS the root cause of inflation, especially with low interest rates that inject liquidity into the market. The system is backed up by fiat currency, it has no backing...which allows the bureaucrats to alter its worth by overprinting debt financed notes. It really got screwed up in 1971 with Nixon and Brenton Woods failing. Both parties are addicted to this overprinting because it funds the warfare/welfare state and keeps the money loose...but we know that this just increases M3 and leads to future inflation. The central bank has done more harm than good!

    • I understand the stance Ron, but unfortunatly the entire governing body needs an enema, from the rooter to tha tooter not just a quick sweep, b/c then we would probably be bought out (literally) by countries like China who we already owe something like 10 or 15 trillion dollars to. Ahh, if only we were a true democracy, then we could actually have a say in an issue like this, but instead the constitution is unfortunatly just an artifact in a museum and not the actual law of the land anymore andmost people dont even realize that. As long as chili's is open and dancing with the stars is on people could'nt possibly care less about our own country until it is to late. Thats why I thank god for websites like this where I can still exercise my first amendment rights ... think about it...

    • CIA was developed by MI6 (the British Intelligence Agency) and it offered a great way for royal elitists to slowly infiltrate the U.S. and usurp the nation by creating a back door. Because of the shroud of secrecy, the right hand never knows what the left hand is doing. When you research the history of the CIA, it seems they rarely concerned themselves with U.S. interests. The CIA is an organization that used the body bags of dead soldiers in Vietnam to smuggle heroin into the states to further fund their black operations. This is not conspiracy, you can look it up.

    • OMFG. this guy is lost.
this whole the free market is perfect, the free market will protect us concept is completely bankrupt.

This man continuously fails to understand that the world does not hang on our every whim. If we dropped our intelligence agency all it would mean is that we would be the only country without one. The Chinese intelligenc service is so active in corporate espionage that the government currentloy advises all business travelers who enter china to actually THROW THEIR LAPTOPS AWAY when they leave. They are that irretrievably and professionally filled with spyware.

This is one of Ron Paul's dumbest ones yet. You do not protect you ass by dropping your trousers and hanging it out of the window of a moving train. This guy needs to get his heart function checked or something I don't think he's getting as much blood to his brain as he used to.

The CIA is outside the military, Dr Paul suggests ending the CIA as we know it, as an external government program to itself, outside of the control of military personnel. His response is the only logical one out there.

What is so hard to understand that agencies like the CIA are far too unaccountable to Congress and the people. The "intelligence" that this agency gathered on Iraq's WMD program, and the disastrous war and unlawful occupation that followed, should serve as sufficient proof that this agency cannot be trusted.
