Ew... So Steven Spielberg is running the WORLD? Thanks, buddy... I don't buy it though, because there is NOT epic music in my life whenever I or people around me do awesome stuff.

why does pagan now mean satanic? Pagan merely means country. Same with Vulgar. The term vulgar was even used to title a bible in the 5th century. It was merely means common. So a vulgar pagan is really just common country folk, like me. And I am not a satanist.

Silly silly silly.
I stopped right where it said "the Knights Templar formed the church."
Uh no, try the Roman Empire. The Knights Templar wasn't formed until the first crusade in the late 11th century. And they weren't crazy, conniving conspirators. They were zealous thugs who couldn't plot themselves out of a tangled shoelace. Point in case, the Battle of Cresson, in which less than 200 Templar Knights thought they could take on and beat an army of 7,000 because "god was on their side." They pretty much all died.

Saladin:
Uh, no Saladin- try Jesus Christ. The Roman Empire didn't form the Church. Christ did. The Roman Empire certainly was no friend of the Church, it persecuted it relentlessly. The early Church gave us many, many martyrs. The Roman Empire collapsed, and the Church? Still strong, 2,000 some odd years later.........

Saladin:
actually he was right, JC never formed any church. The only orginizational name used by the disciples was (loosely translated as ) "the way", the christians after his death. The Roman-Catholic(Universal) Church was formed by Peter the apostle after the death of JC. The modern Catholic Church was founded 300 years later by Constantine.

Saladin:
Jesus Christ did not form the church, rather it was Saul, who changed his name to Paul, who formed the church (although most of us probably wouldn't recognize it) after Christ's death.

Saladin:
Wrong again, Lucky. "Thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church." That's Christ establishing the Church, with Peter as its first head. St. Ignatius of Antioch said around 100 AD, "Where Christ is, there is the catholic church." Catholic from the Greek "Katholikos", meaning universal. It was known as "The Way" under Roman persecution, generally. It is believed the use of "catholic" is actually ancient, before Ignatius. Benedict XVI is the 265th succesor to St. Peter. Using revisionist history, or commonly used Protestant excuses to explain away when the Church was actually founded (they are loath to admit Christ founded the Church, thus they see the need to say Constantine founded it in the 4th century, but the facts don't back this up...)

Well, it's true that Christian myths and stories have been derived from older stories and myths. Astrotheology and Shamanism: these are the true foundational pillars of religion.

How much do you want to bet the earth doesn't end in 2012? Just like it didn't end in 1534, 1844, 1954, 1988, 2000 or any of the other end of the world predictions.

@ Tyler The media spin is that people should expect the end of a cycle but the natives prefer a birthing anew. Matter of perspective you see.
@ unclepete813 Have you heard of David Sereta who talks about the sun and how it is soon to set out an emission of high frequency harmonic radiation pulse. Supposedly this raises consciousness on the planet and of it's inhabitants. Harmonic radiation is a different code than what we think as radiation and energizes rather. Oh yeah, and his Indian friend said that it will burn the souls of the impure. Kinda it rides with your post and I thought you might look into it if you haven't heard of this part of the glory.
