Angela Stellwag pleads guilty to sex with 14 year old student

Angela Stellwag, substitute teacher (and daughter of Delran Mayor Joseph Stellwag) was arrested back in 2005 and charged with sexual assault of a 14-year-old male Riverside High School student. In 2006 She pleaded not guilty to four counts of sexual assault and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.

The Alleged assaults took place between July 4, 2004, and Sept. 30, 2004 inside the Stellwag's home in Delran and inside her car at locations in Edgewater Park

In January 2009, Stellwag, now 29, pleaded guilty to sexual assault of a 14-year-old male student in accordance with a plea agreement with the prosecution.

According to authorities, Stellwag met boy in 2003 and carried on a relationship through the summer of 2004, when it became sexual.

    • Also - she didn't assault anybody. She had a relationship with an underage boy. That might well be bad for an underage boy depending on the boy and circumstances, etc.

      Prosecutors try to get all they can (legal assault almost as bad a sexual assault) from each case. They don't care if you are guilty or innocent or what you did or didn't do - they just want to their 'guilty' verdict of any charge they can throw and move on.

      That's why innocent people are in prison and being put to death. Because prosecutors don't address reality.
      Because they don't, because they are playing games - the system isn't fair - and it largely doesn't work with correctness, nor with justice.

      I believe a great percentage of crime has been allowed to accrue by this. Where many ills in society, for the sake of our improperly arranged prosecutorial and judicial system, would not exist.

      The bad system festers and infects society and could be entirely better.
