Afghan President Hamid Karzai has revealed a plan funded by US taxpayers to offer money and jobs to tempt Taliban fighters to lay down their arms. The funds to be provided by the US, Japan and Britain to buy off Taliban leaders will reportedly cost hundreds of millions of dollars.

If this is what we have to do to end all of this BS then lets do it. Get it done and get it over with so that we can shift that money towards free education in America. The Taliban were offered a guaranteed job if they left their organization before. Unfortunately Hamid Karzai didn't live up to his promise so now the U.S. is going to try just that since the amount of money needed for Afghanistan is nothing compared to what we need for our economy. As much as it hurts to give my hard working money towards the war involuntarily, we must understand that resolving big problems such as these comes with big sacrifice. And that sacrifice is our hard working tax dollars.
