"ALL WHITES R TERRORISTS?"

“When you recognize white police as terrorists, you must conclude that those who give them authority are terrorists. When you reach that conclusion you understand that those who voted to put them in positions of power are terrorists. When you reach that conclusion, you must face the reality that all white people are terrorists and, ultimately, have one agenda: to continue to dominate and rule the world by oppression.”
Is the above quote an extremist view or a logical conclusion for the historically oppressed, minority African American race to reach? I consider myself as one who's respectfully sympathetic to the struggle of minorities who have been oppressed.
But that statement above doesn't discriminate between those of us who are sympathetic and those who aren't. Yet, even in that, I'm having trouble not agreeing with the logic.
If you're not familiar with this radical new African American youth movement, who refer to "black on white (BOW) crime" as "legitimate reparations protests," have declared "we'll call an end to BOW crime when reparations are paid" and not only celebrate when our police officers are killed but encourage African Americans to see them as terrorists, you might want to familiarize yourself with them. (http://nationalblackfootsoldiernetwork.wordpress.com/about/)
My biggest frustration is many (ALL AMERICANS: WHITE, BLACK AND OTHER) worked and voted for Obama with a sense of bettering America. I don't regret voting for him yet, but I'm begining to think that our country has only gotten worse.
I think I'll stop voting, stop paying my taxes and (as other pages on the site suggest) turn over all my possessions for slave reparations. I wonder will that get me a pass; or, will I still be seen as extermination worthy because of "my race's historic and contemporary atrocities."

Well, this is the natural consequence of a generation guided by Jesse and Al who've taught their younger charges that their is money to be made playing the race card. You never hear about C.O.R.E. (Congress of Racial Equality) Only the NAACP. Why? Cuz the NAACP encourages playing the race card, while CORE rejects this, knowing it is only a detriment. How about Walter Williams, Shelby Steele, Thomas Sowell, Frances Rice? You don't hear them whining about reparations. the National Black Republicans know what is real. Don't mind the graphic- the damned thing showed up automatically!

Ever notice how the only people who want to dismiss or move on from racism are the people who directly profit from these actions, Until .you walk around in my skin ...BLACK skin and feel the stares of mistrust.the sideways glances.the over scrutinization of my very presence.only then will you understand. Racism for most non black people is out of sight out of mind. Rarely do they take a case of racism seriously because they are programmed to think "If the police shot him he must have done something" Or if you are out late at night you must be up to no good. we do not get the benefit of the doubt.Think about it how many times have you taken the other elevator because there was a black man on it. Tell the truth goddamit. white people have no more business talking about the racism a black man goes through every day. than a man has talking about childbirth and the pain that goes along with it. WE HAVE NO IDEA BECAUSE WE ARE NOT WOMEN AND CANT POSSIBLY CONCEPTUALIZE WHAT IT INVOLVES. The same applies to racism that we go through every day......oh yeah let me guess some of your best friends are black. and andy and amos was your favorite show until it was cancelled

Only A Pawn In Their Game:
By: Bobby DA bullet from the back of a bush took Medgar Evers' blood.
A finger fired the trigger to his name.
A handle hid out in the dark
A hand set the spark
Two eyes took the aim
Behind a man's brain
But he can't be blamed
He's only a pawn in their game.A South politician preaches to the poor white man,
"You got more than the blacks, don't complain.
You're better than them, you been born with white skin," they explain.
And the Negro's name
Is used it is plain
For the politician's gain
As he rises to fame
And the poor white remains
On the caboose of the train
But it ain't him to blame
He's only a pawn in their game. The deputy sheriffs, the soldiers, the governors get paid,
And the marshals and cops get the same,
But the poor white man's used in the hands of them all like a tool.
He's taught in his school
From the start by the rule
That the laws are with him
To protect his white skin
To keep up his hate
So he never thinks straight
'Bout the shape that he's in
But it ain't him to blame
He's only a pawn in their game. From the poverty shacks, he looks from the cracks to the tracks,
And the hoof beats pound in his brain.
And he's taught how to walk in a pack
Shoot in the back
With his fist in a clinch
To hang and to lynch
To hide 'neath the hood
To kill with no pain
Like a dog on a chain
He ain't got no name
But it ain't him to blame
He's only a pawn in their game.Today, Medgar Evers was buried from the bullet he caught.
They lowered him down as a king.
But when the shadowy sun sets on the one
That fired the gun
He'll see by his grave
On the stone that remains
Carved next to his name
His epitaph plain:
Only a pawn in their game. - 2 years ago

I wanted to comment on this article before people ripped to shreds but I am already too late. You have to understand the comment is about a perspective. “white people are terrorists" is not meant as cold hard fact. Its meant to introduce the reader to the experience of African American communities, which has not improved since the election of Obama. (I for one had no expectation that it would and warned that it was a way for the Democratic party to pacify their Black voters and then brush their concerns under the carpet.)

I wonder if Mr. Maurice really wants the complete segregation and possible ghettoization of the populace if these BOW crimes persist. He couldn't blame non-African Americans for not wanting blacks in their neighborhoods, towns, cities, states, etc. I certainly wouldn't want angry people claiming their criminal actions are justified.

gepma--so what women are never discriminated against in society and what about Muslims? or gay and lesbian people or children or vegetarians or Christians or atheists or Jews or just about anybody who is a member of an subgroup--should we all f*** off because we aren't black men--who may or may not want to walk in your shoes--which reminds me what if I am in a wheelchair or got my legs blown off in Iraq protecting your freedom of speech? (and thus can't walk--sorry I figured from your post you might need the obvious pointed out to you)..but I guess you won't care because again I am not a black man WTF do I know? And according to you I am not worthy or intelligent enough to speak to the issues of discrimination or stereotyping or generally being hateful and myopic and how buying into these generalizations only furthers the divide and keeps us fighting with each other instead of working together to end ALL FORMS of discrimination and racism.

I hate racism and, quite frankly, don't understand it. I find it a sign of the utmost level of ignorance. How anyone can feel this way is a mystery to me.
If you don't understand my way of thinking listen to this:
Is there racism in other animals that walk the earth? Chew on that for a while...NO there's not (well at least that we know). At least there's no sign of it. Strange don't you think?
Racism itself is much like religion. You're told something by someone that obviously influences you and pretty soon you believe it's the truth and then you begin to live that way. It enters the soul and alters the way you think and live...are you with me?

Personal perspective has nothing to do with the fallacious argument that this nutcase is submitting. Black citizens in this country also give power to police officers by paying taxes, electing public administrators, or, if you choose to inject this example, Presidents of the country.
His argument reads as follows: Some police officers are white. Some police officers have been shown to commit brutal/terrorist-like acts against subjects. Some citizens are white. Therefore, all white people are terrorists.
Do you see the enormous disconnect in this logic? Let me supplement it with another progression in similar form.
Some candy bars are chocolate. Some candy bars have nuts in them. Some men like chocolate bars with almonds in them. Therefore, all men like chocolate bars with nuts in them.
It's fallacious, and even without this metalogical analysis, it's completely absurd. The fact that I'm even having to break this argument down to this level is quite depressing.

True, European and American culture has been dominated by racism for a long time. In fact, America was built on the destruction of countless native cultures. Thanks to democracy and education, that is changing. What we really need to do is stop pointing fingers at who is worse than who, and get to what's important, which is helping people feed their families, and keeping the government in check according to the interests of ALL its citizens.
Screw white supremacists, and screw the black panthers. They're both equally hateful, equally racist groups, and they have weak grips on reality. Anyone who gives radicalism of any kind a second of their time is wasting all of it.

The Black Panthers were not a hate group. White murders were never pinned on them. They had gun fights with policemen in Black neighborhoods. People on this website are often critical of the police, but the Panthers took it much more serious. They got into gunfights with police which eventually led to their demise. They actually were a social group that had reading and food programs for lower class neighborhoods that started in California and spread throughout the country. Do your research. They were a threat to our government back them because Ronald Reagan , and J.Edgar Hoover were trying to stamp out anything that remotely resemble a revolutionary movement. White (flower child) hippies and college students often marched with the Panthers in civil social protest. Some of those students that shared common interest with them were involved in the protest that eventually led to the Kent State murders. They were not anti-White. They were anti-establishment, just like draft dodgers, Abbey Hoffman, and the Weathermen were.
There were Black groups back then that were anti-White, but the Panthers were not one of them. People in the 60's and 70's, unlike today, were not afraid of change to the point to were giving up their lives, and freedom were after thoughts to their true beliefs.

This is extremely wrong for anybody to say something like this. I have experienced his frustration on several occasions in my live, but to say and mean this with your heart is so wrong. I 've been terrorized by my own just as much in my adult life. I've had my home broken into by my own. People who have not paid financial debt to me and my wife were of my own kind.
For the most part the core establishment that sets the rule of law and enforces it in America are White, but today the negative effect of an unfair and unbalanced system affects everybody. Barack Obama is the president but he doesn't run this country. The Federal Reserve and Wall Street bankers do. He answers to them, and whatever they do affects us all.

You can't blame a whole race for the actions of a few, you can't argue that all people who are of middle eastern origin are responsible for the actions of the people who blew up the world trade centre. also as a side note Africans were being taken to asia as slaves long before europeans stated doing and Africans are not the only people to have been slaves it has happened for just about the whole of human history.

Just keep in mind that racial profiling exists, and its very easy to resent someone because of the privileges they have simply by being born certain color.
That being said, I was raised by a white momma and a black daddy, so I'm not particularly resentful of any race.

see white people go through airports without getting checked? I'm a white male age 20 and get checked almost every time i go through the airport...and most likely because they're scared if they let me go through without getting checked people will charge them with claims like this. Know how annoying that is? (N i fly often, about once every three months from Chicago's Midway Airport). So i'm not so sure your claim is correct...
Racial profiling does exist but when does it cross the line of being too politically correct? How do we know people aren't checking certain individuals that seem suspicious just because they're scared of getting charged with being racist or profiling? I just wonder when our urge for political correctness might go too far and harm us someday.
Now for police, yes...it gets ridiculous in some cases. But calling them all terrorists will only make others turn against you and harden the resolve of those who actually are. Also, it harms those who are actually quite just and fair, for those people need to be honored not scorned by a blanket statement.

Don't agree with the angle of the site, although some facts elucidated need to be more widely known.
As a Black radical, I can assure you (not that you require it or that it's the main focus of my work) that although most folks in our communities can definitely understand the sentiment behind the site, most would probably feel much of the solutions highlighted are unwarranted, muddled at best.
The police do, however, function as a kind of occupying army in the neighborhoods of certain ethnic groups. Of course my understanding of the historical development of the modern-day police is that it has everything to do with the type of political economy (capitalism) in which it was wrought and now forms a symbiosis.
This is just fancy language to say that the folks that created the webpage could use some development to see terror in the notion of police in general, not just "white cops," and hopefully re-examine the idea of government and freedom in general, just not "white" countries/laws.
To which your post alludes: you understand, of course, that this- the shocking presentation of position and ideas- is natural (as in, "readily understood") fallout from historic relationships between those identified and identifiable as Euro, African, black, white, rich, poor, etc.
All real revolutionaries understand that discussion and reconciling is key to real peace in the world (not our only skillset, but this marks our main trajectory).
Frustration comes about when we (those posited as "minorities" and pseudo-human "others", when we are not) are born into this society, neutral to most ideas and we keep being attacked and subverted- disproportionately to those even in the same "class." The link you posted exposes a segment of an oppressed community w/in the US where a multitude of strategies have been used for CENTURIES to curtail both horizontal (intra-group) and vertical (outside-sourced) violence, and at least begin the convo on causality - nevertheless, for many in this space, they've found that many of the older tactics and dialog are outmoded and ultimately gets us nowhere. Need I post hundreds of links to support this claim?...
I would suggest that you study in a more in-depth way the underpinning causes of such displays, communicate with others that both do and don't come to similar conclusions as yours, and not fall into the trap of thinking and almost expecting that there is an impending "race" war that's to occur fairly soon. Please develop ideas and act as though this can change in a substantive way.
