Michigan Mom Accused of Sex with Boy, 13

Norma Elisa Lira, 32-year-old married mother-of-three, Norma Elisa Lira, has been accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old boy.

Lira faces a charge of 3rd-degree criminal-sexual conduct with a person at least 13 years of age but under 16 years.

Lira's husband alerted the police who launched a month-long investigation. Detectives indicate that Lira allegedly performed fellatio on a 13-year-old boy who was her teenage daughter’s friend.

The alleged incident occurred last year, sometime between August and October, at Lira’s home on Flint Ridge Street, with a Texas youth who was visiting Michigan relatives at the time but was not related to Lira, police said.

The charge is punishable by up to 15 years in prison, Oakland County Undersheriff Mike McCabe said.

Lira was visiting relatives in Texas when the charges were filed. She voluntarily returned to Michigan and was arrested.


Lira was booked into custody at the Oakland County Jail with bond set at $50,000. She's expected to be in 52-3rd District Court on Thursday morning for a preliminary hearing which will determine if she'll stand trial.
