Construction on Habitat for Humanity Silicon Valley Project Begins Feb. 6

If you are in Silicon Valley, join Habitat for Humanity Silicon Valley and special guest, Steve Tate, Mayor of the City of Morgan Hill, for the wall raising ceremony to officially launch construction of six Morgan Hill homes.
All six selected families, plus volunteers, sponsors and community leaders will participate in raising the walls on February 6, on two of the foundations already poured for the six eco-friendly homes to be built on the site. Representatives of the home sponsors also will attend the wall raising and receive recognition.
Volunteers are welcome!
Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Habitat for Humanity Silicon Valley was formed in 1986, and is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, an organization committed to eliminating poverty housing throughout the world. Habitat for Humanity Silicon Valley, together with partner families and community supporters, has built 50 homes in the Santa Clara Valley, providing simple, decent homes to more hardworking, deserving families every year. Habitat for Humanity Silicon Valley is currently building in San Jose and Morgan Hill, which is the host site for the Thrivent Builds home.
