Everyone agrees Cambell was unarmed; everyone agrees Cambell was shot in the back. The death is senseless; the cops reckless. There is simply no justification for shooting an unarmed man in the back.

Every week there's a new story of sensitive, confused cops attacking, injuring, and sometimes killing civilians who have broken no laws.
And then we wait for the next story. Will this ever make a difference?

What isn't mentioned is that Aaron was distraught because he had just found out that his brother whom he had been caring for in the hospital had died. The officer who shot Aaron says that he shot him after he had started to reaching for his 'waistband' (it was his back). He was simply reaching for where he had been shot by the beanbag gun.Can we really call the officers who perpetuate this racial profiling 'rogue officers' when racism is coming from an institutionalized level by being reflected in unequal distribution of rights?Passive participation is no solution because it is still participation which favors the current corrupt system.

Shoot first. Make up a story later. Murder is murder.

I agree with Jubal on this one. There are Many great police officers that genuinely want to do good. It is not fair to judge the entire police force based on the actions of a few bad apples. Unfortunately if you give someone an ounce of power they will wield it with a pound of authority. We need for police officers to be held to a greater standard of accountability than we do normal citizens. I also think there should be more intensive personality screening for Americas finest.

There are too many cops giving the few good cops out there a bad name.
I have been fortunate to meet very good cops here in Eugene and Florence, Oregon. I promised one of them that I would always stand up for the good ones.
But something really needs to be done about rogue cowboy cops like this guy Frashour.

Another one onto the stack.
I wonder when someone's really gonna notice this consistent behavior.

this is stupid. didn't the police get tazers for this same reason? to be able to subdue unruly people if they resist but are unarmed?
