If this is "new" news to you, join the club. I knew nothing about Mr. Gore's concept for a Deep Space Climate Observatory (DSCOVR) system...probably because it was shelved by the Bush administration for years despite being capable of providing us with a great deal of valuable data about the actual effects of global warming on our planet. Fortunately, it looks like it just might be launched after all...
