The former Alaska governor, in an interview Saturday on the sidelines of the National Tea Party Convention in Nashville, said President Obama’s “lack of experience” has held him back his first year in office and that she would put her credentials up against his any day.

“I would be willing to if I believe that it’s right for the country,” Palin said when asked if she would run for president in 2012.

I say Tina Fey for President in 2012. She's actually intentionally funny and possesses a brain. That and now that Conan is gone NBC has an opening for a late night comic. The real Sarah could step up and take over for Tina on SNL--everybody would win.

I hate to say it, but someone like Tina Fey is too smart to be a politician, and has too many other options (writer, screenplays, movies, etc). Who'd put up with being the incessant target of lies and hatred from Fox, if they didn't HAVE to? Thanks to Tina for her efforts in the election, but from what I read, she's just not THAT interested in risking her life/health for the sake of politics (think she got death threats from a nut-job Palin fan).
Unlike Colbert/Stewart (who started as comics), Palin got in the National spotlight only because of politics; she'd have a hell of a time transferring that fame into anything but a cable T.V. show and to sell a few million books (although people like Beck/Hannity get good ratings, and that's what it's ALL about: ratings).
Beck is up to what, his 7th book? Turns out he's smart enough to run his enterprise thru his own multi-media outfit, called Mercury ENTERTAINMENT Group. Palin's book is published by Murdoch-owned HarperCollins, who publishes "Going Rogue").
Fact is, politics has become ENTERTAINMENT, and people become rabid over their political entertainers; they LOVE to talk (and post) about it, can't get enough of their books, etc. That's what any entertainer LOVES: rabid fans who seek out their 'star'.
Here's Limbaugh explaining the game in 2003, as played by ALL politicians who sell books (Coulter, Clinton, etc).
http://www.wnd.com/index.php?pageId=19365
But anyone who actually thinks ANY of these entertainers can actually change anything is a bit naive, IMO.
The real problems of the Nation are immense, and require fiscal discipline which our Nation just won't be able to muster (years of entitlement have made the average American into a childish brat who won't accept 'no' for an answer). Maybe the controversy is good to make THESE Bible-selling cammers and snake-oil salespeople rich, but it does NOTHING for the country.

Seriously?!?!?!? This reminds me of my teenage daughters favorite saying of late--- hahahahahaha...NO!
Come on now. Sarah can't even follow a thought from the notes in her hand to looking up over the crowd--at least President Obama can read the teleprompter and then look out over the crowd without a train of thought derailment. So there really is no hope for change to a Republican leader in the White House if Sarah Palin is their nominee.
That and Sarah honey please stop believing your own PR--the people at FOX are only kissing your ass because it saves their viewers the time and hassle of having to to go out and buy a playboy or pay for the premium channels when you are on TV. Personally you should ask Bill O to put both hands on the desk next time you sit across from him in the studio but I figure that would just prove my point.

Anyone willing to vote for Palin should be prepared for President Obama to be re-elected for a second term, with no trouble. It was entertaining enough to see the fool, Palin, attempt a debate with Joe Biden during the election season. I would love to see Palin go up against Obama. Her campaign would die on the spot. Though, I would not be shocked if she tried to carry on, claiming media scrutiny. A camera and some basic questions are this fool's worst nightmares.

Don't blame me. I voted for Kodos. Politics look more and more like professional wrestling. They put on a nice show for the people, but the winner was decided months ago by a couple of white haired suits in a backroom.

I do have to wonder why I STILL haven't heard any real reactions to her having done porn films! Well...If there's no real reaction to that Then I am REAL shocked at the wording she uses in speeches it's like the stuff people in comedy always are looking for! Sarah Palin even saying anything about running for president is about as much of a freak show as the California elections! California had just a few more Clowns & transexuals!

She's all talk. After seeing the gray hairs on Obama, I'm sure Palin is comfortable yelling at the players from the sidelines. She's just a disgruntled fan, who fancies herself as an actual performer.

Ya know? After thinking about this for awhile I just might like to see Sarah Palin in office. I want to see her fold under the pressure of the job. I want to see her studder and try to convince us all is well. I just want to see her break down and cry like the spoiled brat she is. There for I will Vote for Sarah Palin if she runs for office. I want to see how bad She screws things up for you folks. I'm disabled so I don't have to worry about a job. My Wife works for a private Hunting club so I know Her job is secure. I wonder will she commet suicide if She screws up bad enough? I must think She has thought about it while running with John Mccain. One must wonder Have i gone completely off my Rocker?

Funny, as the local FOX radio outlet was running an ad last night from an outfit that was selling her book at the "limited time only" price of $4.99. This price, when her publisher (also coincidentally owned by Murdoch's News Corp) set the price at $25, just a few months ago.
Message: "Going Rogue" just ain't goin' viral out of bookstores. It's just not selling (AKA a failure).
Pretty much anything Palin does nowadays is simply attention-seeking behavior (and her announcing her willingness to run for President is laughable).
She's trying to make a quick buck before it all comes crashing down (and only the fools who think she's a valid contender are being played)....

Sarah Palin is the ideal candidate to represent the Republican Party in the 2012.
The mere fact that she is the Republican front runner while being a tax evader (i.e. cheat) at a time of national economic peril, makes her the perfect poster child for this particular group of people.
In the end, it will be a good lesson to everyone that there are consequences for inaction, a price to pay for ignorance and the ultimate precursor for real change.

It doesn't make much difference since even Obama's failure would not be a success for Palin
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/lee-stranahan/hillary-12-how-the-clinto_b_453082.h...
That possibility has already been considered since Hillary Clinton would have a much better chance of winning than Sarah Palin.
The demographics would still be against her since it would be the same split that HWB had against Ross Perot when Bill Clinton won.
Now it's early 2011 and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton calls a press conference announcing that she is immediately leaving her post in president Obama's cabinet and announcing her intention to run against him for the nomination of the Democratic Party. She graciously thanks the president for allowing her to successfully serve the American people in one of the few areas of his administration seems to have gone well and says that she expects the primary to be a friendly conversation among colleagues about who is the best person to lead the country in 2012.
Back in Chappaqua, the Clintons begin to call in favors from their over 20 years on the national political stage. Newcomer Obama has built up very little loyalty in his short tenure and is already privately perceived by many to be chum in the water. Endorsements for HRC 2012 start to trickle out, but the charge is really led by Bill Clinton. He explains to Larry King that voting for Hillary is the best way for Obama voters to get what they really wanted in 2008 on issues like health care reform.
Meanwhile, Hillary begins a listening tour explicitly aimed at bringing back the progressive base and helping to stump for congressional candidates. She tells people like MoveOn.org and the Daily Kos community while they may not always agree, she has a long history and the people know where she stands. She admits she may not be the better speaker, but she knows how to get things done. When she repeats her 2008 pledge that she will fight for the voters, she appears to have more testicular fortitude than the present.
So against the larger majority of both liberals and progressives that Clinton can inlfuence even the base that Fox can muster won't gain Palin enough votes to win and it'll just be a repeat of her performance in 2008.

Run Sarah Run!!! Obama will clean her clock. Sarah Palin during the Vice Presisential debates didn't even answer the questions asked of her, She just went off on her own little tangent saying nothing. She has no grasp of domestic issues and certainly not international although Sarkozy would hose her.
If she were to get nominated the press would tear her apart, they were pretty nice to her while running as McCain's VP. Although the general population of the US is pretty stupid I don't think they are that stupid to put her in the White House. - 2 years ago

My thoughts on Nalin Palin into the white house! Sara or is Sarah, is a idiot. yeah sure she is hot and there are a number of porn related movies based on here lifestyle, but she is not political material. She has an annoying accent, i mean yeah she sounds cute and probably sounds good in bed, but I don't want to here you tell me about hockey and shit, how the hell is that sexy or political. Also I am tired of hearing about Nalin Palin bitching about how the President is doing this and that, well here is me pointing fingers about this and that. Sara you bought thousands of copies of your own book, WHAT A WASTE, you spend thousands going to tanning beds just to look like someone from the cast of twilight. Yeah talk about wasting money if i wanted to buy a childerns puzzle book i would probably try and buy your shitty book.

Ok, there is one thing that scares me about this... At some point, Bush couldn't get elected mayor of a town, then he got coached by Karl Rove and moved up to governor, then president. Though I think it very unlikely, what would happen if Palin got herself a Karl Rove like person and ran during the 2012 election?
