380 UK jobs set to go at drugs giant

Despite reporting a 12% rise in its annual profits, the drug company GlaxoSmithKline announced that they will cut a third of jobs at its UK research and development sites.

In Harlow Essex this could see 380 jobs lost from its 1,150 work force, which has gone into a 90 day consultation with workers.
