    • Willowguy I applaud...some anonymous dudes should put up a billboard down the road that should read: like a: root canal, ingrown toe nail, black plague, diarrhea on a crowded train, cluster migraine, whooping cough, another eight years of failed world domination. Some thoughts.

    • This thing just shows the general ignorance of conservatives. Its like they are trying to say "In your face!" to progressives. What they don't realize is that progressives are fully aware that most of the things that are wrong with the Obama administration are that way because of GOP obstruction. The only reason Obama is failing (and he's really not failing in my opinion) is because the right is doing everything possible to make sure he fails even at the costs of American prosperity.

      The Democrats have a majority in the House and had a super-majority in the Senate until two weeks ago. The Republicans couldn't obstruct him if they wanted to, and they do admittedly, but they don't have the votes. He's got everything and he still can't get anything done. GOP obstruction is a lame excuse when they don't hold either house of Congress.

      It isnt exactly Obama's fault that the Democratic caucus is filled with lameduck congressmen and spineless leadership in the Senate. Reid is an epic fail.

      I think what JohnA and most conservatives don't understand is that the Democratic party is made up of both progressives and conservatives, whereas the Republican party are either conservative or ultra conservative. The problem with the Democrats is that they are not progressive enough, and that keeps them from being a unified front. The right might think thats a bad quality to have, but I think a party like the Republicans who are rank and file and generally lacking in any original thought is much more tragic. They all repeat the same lame ideas over and over again like xerox machines. Thats why Sarah Palin is hilarious because she just repeats that garbage over and over again without even knowing what it means and even Republicans are cringing at the monster they made.

All of the well-heeled guests have contributed at least $25,000 to the RNC, with some—dubbed “pioneers”—having raised $100,000 or more. -

      He’s 81. He starved so my kids could show their kids a mountain. He should get a billboard.
      Maybe we should ask for matching funds from the US Department of Justice, a solemn reparation for spending $14,000 on a velvet curtain to shroud a national treasure. We could get two billboards, add Don Blankenship’s face to ‘em, print billets for the post office and throw a great big hoedown for that kind of money.

      “Miss Me Yet?” Eight years of Torture, mayhem, bankruptcy, foreclosure, and listening to the word “nucular”:No, not yet. 2,973 dead on American soil; 4375 dead American soldiers; 110,600 Iraqi dead (AP); 230,000 dead in Haiti. I miss all of them. Casey Sheehan’s mom misses him. Miss you yet?
