Vernon Kay in the doghouse over text-sex with five women

 

Tess Daly is apparently "extremely upset" after her husband Vernon Kay admitted sending explicit texts to up to five other women, including Page 3 Rhian Sugden.

An apparently weeping Vernon told The Sun: "I'm an idiot. Tess is extremely upset about this and we're working through it. In some ways I'm glad this story has come out. It feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders."


He went on to deny he'd got up to any Dirty Den-style mischief, saying: "I've been stupid and daft but I'm not a sex pest. I've only done this with four or five girls and I've known them all well. [The messages] would always start off pretty innocent... Sometimes I'd say 'I saw you last night and your dress was sexy' but sometimes I'd get an inkling it was going down a different direction and the fool in me would go down that road."


The Sun say they've seen the texts but claim they're too explicit to print.
