Dog saves family from fire that cat started

I am glad the family was saved but on in their right mind with go to sleep with a lite candle. That's just asking for trouble and that is precisely what they got. At least the animals have more brains and their human pets. No one should go to sleep with candles lite especially with a cat around. Their natural curiosity goes beyond saying. Hope cat doesn't get into trouble for just being a cat, besides it just might have jumped which in turn topple the candle let on by the smart human.

The cat is being scapegoated, made the sacrificial lamb by the dog (or goats are being scapecatted; Lord, it's all so confusing).

Anyway, when it comes to ratting out cats, dogs are such tattle-tales, sucking up to "the Man" to get a treat from their "Master"! No self-respecting cat would ever rat out a dog; it's called integrity, folks, and it's all about standing up for a fellow four-legger, whether feline or canine. Guess that kind of thinking is passe' nowadays.

PS any good defense lawyer would demand stronger evidence, e.g. kitty paw-prints on the match, or perhaps a video showing the cat striking a match and lighting the candle: produce THAT video, and the prosecution has got a strong case (as well as a YouTube viral hit)!

PSS word on the street is the cat is on the lamb... Badda-bing!
