As Caroline Meech made it through the doors of her local maternity unit she was prepared to give birth, but she did not even have time to get into a delivery room when baby Alice arrived.
The 32 year-old mum had no time to spare as she staggered through the automatic doors of the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester, and collapsed on the floor. Her husband arrived in the nick of time after parking the car as their daughter was been just minutes later weighing in at 8lb 3oz.
The family have been given the unusual momento of the CCTV footage that captured the whole birth.
