Synopsis: The son of one of New York's wealthiest families is snatched off the street and held hostage. His parents can't save him, because this kidnapper isn't demanding money. Instead, he quizzes his prisoner on the price others pay for his life of luxury. In this exam, wrong answers are fatal.

I JUMPED (literally) when I saw your headline. And you're quite right, not enough books discussion going on, sad to say.
I requested this book from my library (can't afford to purchase books), and am #123, and my request was BEFORE the book was released.
I have read every single James Patterson book, and love them all. The one that got to me deeply was his other recent one, "Alex Cross's Trial." It had a different feel to it, for obvious reasons I won't give away, and I thought the experiences in the book were absolutely REAL, and must not be forgotten. So now it's one of my favorites, not just as a James Patterson novel, but in general. Chilling!
Just can't wait to read "Worst Case."
Thank you VERY much for drawing attention to this latest book of his.... and to books, in general.
