Enough! Stop 'Minority Tyranny' in the Senate and Nuke the Filibuster

By now, more than a year after Barack Obama took office as the 44th president of the United States -- and the first African-American to assume the office -- it is becoming more and more apparent that the Republican opposition in Congress, and particularly in the Senate, is not acting in the role of the "loyal opposition" that one would expect in a democracy.

    • Typical reaction from a left-wing cynic. You're just as bad as the right-wing Obama-haters (And believe me, they've declared me their latest "public enemy No. 1," judging from the bilbous hate email that's been flooding my inbox these past 24 hours) .

      What's the one thing that right-wing Obama-haters and left-wing cynics have in common? They're both hard-line purists who can never be satisfied.

      quit being little 6 year olds and playing the blame game.

      your own party is fucking you and they are doing it royally and you all are to stupid, blind or ignorant to even know it. Dont know which it is but my guess is its a combination of all 3.
