Another Taliban leader captured in Pakistan. Newsweek's Sami Yousafzai and Mark Hosenball report that a second leader of the Taliban, identified as Mullah Abdul Salam, has been captured in a joint effort between Pakistan and the U.S.
Salam was apparently picked up by Pakistan security forces about a week ago in Faisalabad, around the same time that the Taliban's second in command, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baraader, was reportedly captured. More details from Newsweek here.

Seems like Obama is doing a damn good job of cleaning up Bush's mess. The President seems to be working well with Pakistan too since these are joint operations. Perhaps Obama's ability to think strategically (and diplomatically) is far superior to Bush and his (eye roll) strategery.
I'm thinking of that Bush billboard that asks, "Miss Me Yet?"
Nope. Not at all.

Funny that Cheney opened his mouth about not getting results with Taliban/Al Qaeda when apparently these two were already in custody.
