Dude, are you for real? If you don't see how this racist made it all about race with HIS racist diatribe ("how much for a shoe-shine?", etc), then you truly ARE nutso. OK, I can cut you some slack if you didn't listen to the words being spoken (I missed the dialog at first, and had to re-listen to it a few times), but come on, Dude. I flipped on my opinion AFTER listening to the words being spoken by this old racist off his psych meds (I'm guessing the guy's bipolar, with a healthy dose of schizophrenia thrown in, from the looks of it).

But instead of focusing on the hate (which corndog spews) and psychoses, the interesting aspect here is to look at the attempts of bystanders to keep the peace. Watch the older black lady sitting nearest to the black guy who's trying to tell him to grab a seat and relax. Kudos to her for trying to keep the peace, risking her own welfare by daring to intervene.

Also notice the even-older white man who tries to keep the crazy racist away from the black guy at the front of the bus. He's truly risking himself, by standing in the way of a nutso. He could run the other way, I suppose, but tries to intervene to keep the peace. I personally wouldn't do it, but can appreciate his bravery for daring to protect the black guy.

FWIW, the news article explains that the white guy was arrested a little later, and even held his hands out to be cuffed. The cops explained the guy had gone off his psych meds, which he clearly needed to be on. No shitze? Sometimes these guys re-offend simply because they can get back into prison for violating parole, just so they can get access to the prison medical system and get more tax-payer-afforded meds: no kidding.... I've seen guys who've violated parole, simply since they need surgery and couldn't afford it 'on the outs' (more common nowadays with Medi-Cal cuts, BTW).

So keep on hatin' haters, and get off on whatever thrill watching violence against others gives you (if that's all your tiny mind can fathom). Just don't take your anger out on random people: like Forrest Gump says, life is like a box of chocolates and you never know what you're going to get... Sometimes you win, but no guarantees you won't end up dead (or as a quadraplegic).
