You just called me a retard. Go fark yourself.
Socialism is the preferred economic/government system for most of the western world. In the US we have adopted many of the basic socialist notions with our police, fire dept., welfare, social security, standing military, and many others. So you just called America "retards".
Since you know so much more than the rest of us, there's no reason for you to even try talking to us. We're retards.

I can't believe I am even saying this because I, like many people, think he is ridiculous, but this doesn't have anything to do with his ability to manipulate people, does it? Won't this just create sympathies for him? I don't know. Leave him alone in that respect, we should be focusing on what he is doing to people, his spreading of misinformation, and his pulling on the puppet strings in Middle America's mind.

Personally I don't think Glenn Beck is a drug addict or an alcoholic. He's just a giant asshole like Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Keith Olbermann, a majority of the members of the Senate, and about 3/4 of celebrities, bloggers, and news media anchors who have found a way to spin doing absolutely nothing but running their mouth and saying completely illogical and stupid or even made up shit into a personal fortune.
I mean come on now--Glenn Beck's show is basically the equivalent of Jerry Springer show for the conservative audience--people watch it and either get the joke and laugh or go hey honey that guy that reminds me of your uncle/cousin/nut-job relative is on TV again-let's watch.

Ihatethemall, you have a lot of issues but one of them isn't that you're the brightest candle in the menorah. I can see why you'd defend a dry doper, being one yourself. But remember, it's not your side that invented "PC" thinking so don't try to hide behind it, retard.
To read someone defending Beck for veracity is music to my ears, since all I ever deal with is his lies, smears, character assassinations, conspiracy theories, cult membership (yeah, he's a effing MORMON), and paranoid delusional crackpot logic. You know, like the "socialist art" theory, that's a good example of delusion.
You probably don't know this (I think you actually know very little about Beck, I think you just like to argue because it validates your anger), but Glenn Beck is a disciple, so to speak, of Cleon Skousen, a discredited former Mormon crackpot member of the John Birch Society. Skousen was one of those people who saw a commie behind every nook and cranny in American culture. You're very likely to be one of those, too, because it's really important for members of the lunatic fringe right to have an enemy. Your motivation isn't to try to fix things, it's to BREAK things. The left is motivated to solve problems, you're motivated by hate and fear.
Enough of you. If you truly believe that Beck is telling you the truth, then you are living in a very dull fantasy.
Who picked the cover photo for this article? Are you SERIOUS? You're putting Beck and Palin into the same pot as Keith Olbermann? Look, you obviously aren't paying attention.
Palin and Beck are serial liars and that is documented. I know this to be true because I have done a good bit of it myself. Keith Olbermann is not a "wingnut". Wingnut is defined in the Urban Dictionary as
1. wingnut
n. An outspoken, irrational person with deeply-held, nominally conservative, political views. A person who chooses on principle to be flagrantly ignorant. A "right-wing nut".
Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, and Fred Phelps are examples of the wingnut element in modern America.Look, the term "wingnut" is a RIGHT WING name, not a left wing one. The one that the wingnuts tried to stick on the left was "moonbats" but guess what? There are a few people on the left who are utter screwups but there are very few "moonbats". Keith Olbermann is certainly not one of them. He has a rational mind, he has expert guests who are respected in their field (political commentary, Constitutional law, and so on). He uses fact-based reasoning, not a ridiculous routine of unsubstantiated innuendo and discredited BS.
I'm not surprised by the Daily Beast using such a cracked photo mashup for their article. They're trying to be "fair and balanced", just like the crackpots who hired Beck and Palin for political opinion shows (LOLOLOL!!!!). "Fair and balanced" is what has destroyed journalism in America, along with corporate monopolies. Sometimes there isn't another side to a story. Sometimes it's just a FACT, and you don't need to manufacture a factoid to keep your readers informed.
For example, when you're doing a story about WINGNUTS, you don't need a picture of Olbermann. Wingnuts are wingnuts, you silly, irrelevant meat puppets.

Yep, that's you. Unlike Sarah Palin, I'm not PC. And you're not either, but you cry like a little bitch, just like she does, whenever she's been caught practicing hypocrisy.
With your overt aggression, defense of delusional fantasies, and persecution complex, I'd say it's pretty safe to say that when you were a few years younger you didn't play well with others. Or maybe the lady at day care shook you a little bit too hard. There's usually an explanation why someone living in the age of Google and instantaneous promulgation of information would believe Glenn Beck. IQ is frequently a factor.
If you would like to educate yourself about Beck's lies, I have a spreadsheet of them at this link:

look people. This problem isn't that hard to fix. All you need to do is get a photo, or video (video is better) of Glen Beck dressed as a tranny doing lines of coke off of a man with an Obama mask's penis. This will infuriate all conservatives and force Sarah Palin to tell all the tea baggers that "Glen Beck is AN ALL AMERICAN TEA BAGGER!!! GO OUT AND BE LIKE HIM!!!" To be honest, I don't know how these teabaggers would react. I figure they would act in disgust, but they would probably go out and start doing lines of coke off people's weiners. They tend to contradict themselves quite often like that

SO WHAT??? he had drug problems, many here have including myself. Its those that are able to overcome their issues and make something of themselves that are the strong.
Do you make fun of the drug addicts you see in the streets?
Do you mock and ridicule the homeless with mental issues?I am sure if Glenn Beck and just went on some type of government aid instead of speaking the truth you all would be right there championing his cause to get free services from the feds. Instead he speaks the truth and the truth hurts.
It must be nice to live in Currentland here and see things with rose colored glasses but sooner or later you are going to have to move into the real world and when that times comes most of you will not survive. But thats probably a GOOD THING. The world and this country in general has, by far, many to leeches that are sucking the blood out of the life lines that make this country great.

mallhater, I don't know if you're one of those poli-blog-trolls that roam internetland; but you don't seem like a very critical thinking person. Assuming you genuinely care about your fellow man, and not just this blue vs. red nonsense, why would you back someone that so clearly and openly pushes a radical agenda via fear tactics? I know, Glenn obviously has an appeal to those who feel disenfranchised and what not, but there are much better ways to help the US and it's citizens. Blindly following a mad man to a fictional Ragnarok or revolution, without understanding his intent, is a very silly thing to do. As a man of business, Glenn knows there is money in standing out, and there is nothing wrong with a person trying to be a successful business man. The problem is when the means of said business starts to cause far to much pain and hate, to justify the ends. We're all human beings, and we all share the same country on the same planet. Is it that much easier for a person to heckle then help? Evolve. If this falls on deaf ears, so be it. But if this is how you really feel, take a step back and look at the world as something bigger than a thing of black and white, or red and blue. Peace yo..

If you can't tell the difference between Keith Olbermann and Glen Beck, you obviously have a bit of reading to do.
Granted, they both get angry on television- one over real socioeconomic problems and political issues, the other about absolute NONSENSE. Glen Beck makes money off of the racist throwbacks who refuse to acknowledge progress (and in fact HATE everything about it.)
Linking progressives to the people that want to check the President's birth certificate is just not logical or fair. Olbermann deals in real anger over REAL information, Beck deals frenzied hatred for anyone who is not him.Linking activists and people with opinions on REAL issues to frothing racists is just another way to attack anyone with a strong opinion. I don't like your concept, John, and I don't like the fact that people like you complain about other people CARING about something. What do you care about?
car·ing (kârng)
adj.
Feeling and exhibiting concern and empathy for others: "We formed Generations United to argue for a caring society" (Jack Ossofsky).
caring [ˈkɛərɪŋ]
adj
1. feeling or showing care and compassion a caring attitude
2. (Social Welfare) of or relating to professional social or medical care nursing is a caring job

But sorry, repeating what's been know for YEARS about Beck is as pointless as those who repeatedly bring up BO's ACORN ties (yeah, we KNOW he's black and some Tea Baggers hate him for it).
Beck admits to his past substance abuse (and discusses it on his website), so it's dirty pool to keep beating him up over it.
