Since the Constitution only specifies that the Census get a head count once every ten years, where does the bureau get authority for their modern-day foray into private questioning? Or do they even have any? See the link for more...

It's obvious, just pretend to cooperate because your community does tend to get better funding if your population has risen.

That's the problem. They hang a promise of better funding over your head in order to get cooperation and instead they use the info to gerrymander districts.
I do not protest a head count - it is in the Constitution, what bothers me is the seeking of personal info that could be used in many ways, not all good.
As EdJoyProductions suggested, perhaps we should just be creative with our answers?

Well, since it is not really punishable (not that I really believed that to begin with), I say get as creative and bizarre with the answers as possible. We will probably never get a true reporting of the true information anyway. Might as well have some fun.
