Global warming raises Taiwan typhoon danger

Global warming is raising the danger from typhoons, Taiwan experts warned Monday, saying the island may be hit in a year or two by a powerful storm like the one which killed more than 700 last August.

Typhoon Morakot dumped a record 3,000 millimetres (120 inches) of rainfall and caused massive mudslides in the south of the island, and the government should be prepared for similar disasters in the future, they said

      Step 2: Create a commodity market on a harmless gas using scare-tactics and fear-mongering to make people believe this harmless gas, in it's infinitesimal quantities, can raise the temperature of the globe or change the climate

      Step 3: Start a "news" organization to continue propagating this myth. Name it "the Current."

      Step 4: Head to bank with all your cash. Laugh a lot on the way.

      They told us we were going to have a katrina every year in the gulf because of global warming, and nothing has happened yet. Its a hype a hoax or what ever you want to call it.

    • well of course...basically all islands around the world are in pretty bad shape when it comes to extreme weather and they will definitely be the first to be affected as sea levels keep rising.The more heat, the more evaporation and the more rain that will come down. Now its coming down in many places as ice, but in the summer as rain....and please don't listen to "obamaisajoke", he is the biggest ignorant member on current...
